Hopelessly in Love (Sonic X Monokuma)

Chapter 3

Monokuma and his friends found themselves in the cooking club room after school. They went there every time they didn't have club activities after classes. They weren't actually part of the club, yet they were always welcome. The kids that actually attended the club for the cooking always appreciated the company of Monokuma and his friends. This group of friends was probably the loudest bunch of kids in the school, but there was never a dull moment with them. And hanging out with the cooking club also meant being able to taste all the delicious food the cooking club members made. Undyne, Papyrus, Sans and Amy, the members of the cooking club, were making a very tasty looking sweets, which everyone, especially Nagito, were excited to taste.

As Monokuma expected, his friends were teasing him about his crush the whole day, and they time spend in the club room was no exception. After some time they stopped teasing the now very tired Monokuma, whose brain was buzzing from the constant laughs of his friends. Usually Monokuma laughs together with his friends at a poor someone they decided to mock that day, but today they were laughing at him, and he didn't like it at all. But he couldn't blame them, this whole situation was so ridiculous that Monokuma himself would laugh if only he wasn't so devasted from his own feelings.

He really didn't understand this, the way he felt. How could he like someone, and even worse, how could he like someone like Sonic? That is just unacceptable and absurd. But at the end of the day Monokuma couldn't help himself, he really can't just change the way he feels about that guy.

What angers Monokuma the most is that he couldn't hide his feeling good enough for his friends to not notice them. And he just knows that his secret is not safe with them. All of them love to talk and gossip, especially Nagito and Kokichi. There are numerous of times when they couldn't keep quiet, and something that shouldn't slipped from their mouth. It's very common for Nagito to be way too carefree and saying and doing things he shouldn't. But he never does it on purpose. Kokichi on the other hand loves to spread rumors and reveal secrets of others. One would say, that seeing desperate looks on people's faces just give him so much joy like nothing else. In the end of a day, Monokuma loves his dear friends a lot, but right now he would love to beat the to pulp.

Amy, one of Sonic's friends, is also a member of the cooking club, and if Monokuma's company won't stop talking, she could hear them. Or maybe she already heard them, that would be bad, very bad. If Amy heard them talk, she could tell everything to Sonic, and then Sonic would have a perfect material to make fun of Monokuma. And Monokuma knows, that he would definitely not win that fight.

Monokuma's friends noticed the sad look that was on his face. They all looked at each other, and silently agreed to stop their antics. They enjoyed making fun of him a lot, but they also didn't want their friend to be sad. Their chattering and jokes suddenly died down, and they quickly started a passionate conversation about what delicious treat they get to taste today.

Little did they know, that Amy in fact heard them, and were already coming up with the greatest plan to get her friend and his so called enemy together.
