Chapter 4

*Aria's point of view*

Skype message from Lily Winters.

I answered immediately. I miss talking to my sister. Even if she's not actually making noise, it's nice to see her face. When I was told she couldn't speak when she was born I was heart broken. Then she became deaf and my heart ached for her. I took all efforts to learn sign language, just so I could communicate with her.

A- Hey Lily Billy, what's up?

L- Hey!! I've missed you so much! Nothing's different here. How's the tour?

A- Very different! I've missed you too! I can't wait until you can see one of our concerts.

L- Can I confess something?

A- You know you can tell me anything!

L- When I see you up there, slamming down on the drums, it makes me hope. It makes me hope that one day I will hear that beautiful music you make. It makes me yearn to hear it. I just want to hear the reason all those people yell your name. Because maybe, just maybe, I'll be one of the people yelling it.
I stare at my computer screen smiling and tearing up.

A- I believe that one day you will hear my music and then you can tell me what you think about it. I love you Lily, more than mom loves cleaning.

L- Hahaha! I love you too Aria. I love you more than I love sleep.

A- We both know that you love sleep way more.

L- Haha true. I have to go, I have homework to do. I love you! Bye-bye

A- Bye! Love you too!

I'm so happy I could talk to her even if it just was for a little while. Bella has such a perfect life, I wish I had a perfect life like Bella. They don't know what it's like to be the only normal one but still manage to be the screw up.

I put my head in my hands and started thinking.

*Tyler's point of view*

I glanced at my phone and it was about 10:30. I took a quick shower and changed into sweatpants and long sleeved under-armor. I walked over to the beds. Three bunk beds and one single bed. Larissa chose where we slept and of course she put me above Luke. I jumped up onto the top bunk.

"Did you talk to your brother?" Aria asked Bella.

"Yea, he said he made the football team. Can you believe it?! I'm so proud. Have you talked to anyone from home?" Bella said enthusiastically. Aria nodded.

"Yea, my sister, it was really nice to talk to her." Aria said smiling. I smiled too.

I wish I could talk to someone but no one would listen or care. I wish there was someone who still cared for me.

"Eww! I have to share a bunk with you?!" Ashton said to Aria when he walked in.

"Correction, you get to share a bunk with me." Aria said annoyed.

My phone rang so I couldn't hear there argument any longer.

"Hello?" I said more like a question.

"Hello is this Tyler Adams?" Someone asked.

"Who is asking?" I asked nervously.

"I am Roger Bunter from the company that investigated your mothers death." He said.

I jumped off my bed and then went to another part of the bus.

"This is Tyler. Why are you calling?" I asked nervously again.
