As the Daminette couple and their friends exited the airport, they spotted Alfred. Damian and Marinette greeted him warmly, though Marinette was careful not to press her belly. They then proceeded to Wayne Manor.
As soon as Marinette stepped out of the limo, she was tackled to the ground by her siblings-in-law. Damian swiftly caught her before she hit the ground and shot a warning glance at them, causing them to back away. Since only the boys had met her before, she was introduced to the girls. Upon seeing Barbara in a wheelchair, Marinette approached her.
**M:** "How did this happen?"
**B:** "Joker shot me."
**M:** "Do you trust me?"
Barbara hesitated but eventually nodded. Marinette used her healing power to mend her legs.
**B:** "I can feel my legs again."
**M:** "Alright, now try to stand."
With Marinette’s assistance, Barbara stood on shaky legs and managed to balance.
**M:** "Now, try walking."
Barbara took a few tentative steps, causing many gasps from those watching in front of the manor.
"Miss Marinette, your friends’ rooms are ready," Alfred announced.
**M:** "Thanks, Alfie."
The rest of the day was uneventful. They settled into their rooms, unpacked, and relaxed. Marinette, being pregnant, rested while Damian unpacked for her. The girls were aware of the miraculous and the kwamis roamed freely. Everyone knew about Marinette's pregnancy, so she was not allowed to cook or enter the kitchen, a rule enforced by Alfred. ____________________________________________________________________________
