**Day of the Gala:**

Mari, now five months pregnant, attended the gala with Damian and her parents. They mingled with the guests, including Jagged and Chloe’s mom.

Midway through the event, Lila caused a scene.

“How dare you!” she screamed at a waiter.

“So… sorry, ma’am,” the waiter stammered.

Hearing the commotion, Bruce and the Wayne family approached.

“What happened?” Bruce asked.

“Sir, I was—” the waiter began.

“You don’t need to explain. You’ve ruined my dress!” Lila interrupted.

“Miss, please explain the situation,” Bruce said.

“I was walking, and this man” (she pointed at the waiter) “collided with me while carrying red wine.”

“Sir, it wasn’t my fault,” the waiter protested.

“We’ll find out whose fault it was. Tim?” Bruce called.

“Yes, Father?” Tim replied.

“Connect the camera recordings to the projector and find out who’s responsible.”

“Alright,” Tim said.

The footage revealed that Lila had collided with the waiter.

“Now that the truth is out, are you going to apologize?” Bruce asked.

“No,” Lila said arrogantly. “I won’t apologize to a so-called waiter.”

“Very well. Tim, play the next video.”

The video showed all of Lila’s misdeeds.

“With this evidence, I’m sending you to jail,” Bruce declared. “Security, escort her and her friends to the police.”

The police, already informed and with all evidence in hand, took Lila and her friends away.

The party resumed peacefully.

At the end of the evening, Damian asked, “So, how was the show, Mrs. Wayne?”

“Nice, Mr. Wayne,” Mari replied seductively.

“And where’s my reward?” Damian asked.

“You want a reward, huh?” Mari teased.

“Yep.”

“So what do you want?” Mari inquired.

“How about a kiss?” Damian suggested.

“Alright,” Mari agreed.

They sealed the night with a passionate kiss.
