Human

My wristwatch alarmed 2:00 A.M.

Putting on my cap and wristwatch, I took a trip outside.

Security isn't as intense as the daylight at this hour.

At this time, they're probably stationed near the places hosting late-night parties.

In pure honesty, I don't see the fun in it.

I walked the side far from the cops.

Walking a distance in front of me was a woman with a bag of goods from the convenience store.

She probably just finished her working shift or something.

The first and foremost thing you should know about me, I don't see the need for sympathy for these androids.

They're no longer human anyway.

I casually went out of view from security cameras and shut them off with my wristwatch.

Taking out whatever sharp item I brought from the junkyard, I grabbed the woman from behind and cut the back of her neck.

That's where the life-supporting wires are.

In an instant, she dropped dead on the ground.

Blood doesn't come out when you attack an android. The crime scene stays neat.

Now, I'll tell you a little tip for doing this while I move the pile of nuts and bolts to my backpack for the junkyard.

Always attack from behind as much as possible.

If you attack from the front, their eyes will record the threat.

You're public enemy number one the following day if that happens.

Also, even when they're dead, their eyes still record everything.

To sum it up, keep out of view.

An exemption is when you're beyond city limits.

The signal is out of range there.

I picked up her bag and was about to head my way back to my place for a meal.

Someone was running towards me along my way.

The good news was that I managed to dodge.

The bad news was that my food was stolen.

I haven't eaten for almost 24 hours.

With no choice, I ran after the person who stole my stolen stuff.

The hood of the person fell off, revealing long hair tied to a ponytail.

She ran a sharp turn and jumped over a fence, out of bounds from the city.

I followed after her.

She was fast, but the way she was running, she didn't have the stamina.

I tackled her down once I caught up.

My sharp blade positioned next to her jawbone, she didn't dare to scream.

We were far from the city.

I think it would be fun for a slow death. All evidence is out of range anyway.

Looking into her eyes, she was scared. Tears flowed out her eyes, and her lips were trembling.

A silent chuckle escaped my mouth, followed by a smirk.

Moving my lips closer to her ear, I whispered in a low voice, "Try to stay quiet."

Not even a second later, I slid the blade on the side of her jaw, making a deep cut there.

I heard and felt her make a sharp gasp of air.

I shifted from my position to see the look on her face.

Her eyes were shut tight, and she bit her lip to stop her screams.

I would've continued on. However, one thing I saw made me stop.

Blood slowly flowed out of her cut.

She's human.
