"Not so revolutionary now, is it Jakkun?" I smirked at him.
We've been hiding here for months now. Jakkun hasn't even made his move at all.
"Forgive me for being wanted too much by the authorities," he spat at me.
"I beg your pardon. The last time I checked, I'm way more wanted than the likes of you. I doubt you even tried a murder."
"It's nice to be wanted?" Yiira interrupted.
"Shut up Yiira!" I yelled, shoving her away from the argument.
In much irritation, Jakkun rose from his position and slammed me to the wall by my shoulders.
The wind was knocked out of my lungs on impact.
"Alright then, boss... what's your plan then," Jakkun growled.
Brushing his weight aside, I crossed my arms to say, "We recruit, grab attention, state our case, and we pick between a pacifist route or a genocide route."
"Easier said than done," Jakkun grunted, pushing me back to the wall.
"Watch me," I said, pushing him aside and storming out of our den.
Easier said than done...
"Not so revolutionary now, is it Verdil?" Jakkun teased, leaning on the fence gate.
"Shut up... couldn't find a human anywhere."
"Well, there were 2 actual humans here but you decided to bail," Jakkun said as he came closer.
As a matter of fact, he looked really intimidating...
"You know, Verdil... there should be a consequence for that."
I stepped back at his words. I might be a goner after this.
Before anything else, he forcefully dragged me to his room in the barn and closed the door.
In panic, I helplessly kicked and punched the door.
"JAKKUN! YOU JERK! OPEN THE DOOR!
Please..."
On the other side, I heard him barricading the door on the opposite side.
"Stay," he ordered on the other side.
"DON'T YOU BEGIN TREATING ME LIKE A DOG!"
No answer...
I hate him!
No use in crying here. Looking around the room, I found a window behind the curtains.
Opening the curtains led to more disappointment...
"Who the hell bars their windows like a prison?!" I yelled, punching the wall beside a calendar.
A sheet of paper fell out of the calendar, slowly gliding to the ground.
This is...
It's a photo of me with my personal information below.
I decided to check through his stuff for any answers.
Nothing at all until I found something between his pillow and pillowcase.
A police ID...
My hands trembled as I returned everything to how I found it.
No wonder he found the barn so easily...
... he's an android.
"JAKKUN! LET ME OUT! WE NEED TO TALK!"
"Ah... so you found out," he spoke from the other side in an unusually calm manner.
"There was no revolution. Your efforts to recruit were never real, were they?"
"There's no more humans."
"W-what...?"
"You and Yiira are the last ones."
"I'd rather die! If you think I'm going to be a defiled pile of machinery you are mistaken!"
No answer...
I heard his footsteps leaving and sounding oddly rushed.
A sharp pain was then felt on my shoulder, followed by a numbing feeling.
"We got one. Get the last one."
I pulled out whatever was causing pain on my shoulder.
"Gah... a tranquilizer dart..."
