Chapter 17

A little over two months had passed by now.

Things had been pretty hard recently. Adrien can't go out as much as before because there is a big change that someone will recognize him and he'll be separated from Marinette.
But they managed things and they are doing pretty good for now.

Things had been bad in Paris as well. Especially for Lila Rossi, now that Adrien disappeared she can't marry him and she can't be an Agreste , she can't have the power and money she wants. She can't even blackmail Gabriel anymore.

Ladybug and Chat Noir had disappeared four months ago. And of course after the heroes disappear Howkmoth is not active anymore, for what reason should he be? He can't get their miraculous now that they are gone.

Unfortunately Lila still has everyone wrapped around her little finger. More and more lies had been made resulting in more and more sympathy for the lier.

Marinettes parents finally understood what their daughter tried to tell them. Lila Rossi was truly a lier.

One day the italian girl entered their bakery in rage demanding to know where their daughter is. When they said that they didn't know she threatened them.
Now the parents understood everything Lila Rossi was a two face lying brat. And they lost their daughter, their beautiful, kind, talented child, their everything, to a lier.

They couldn't suffer more for the lost of their child. They just hope one day she will forgive them.

Back in New York Marinette is now four months and eight days pregnant and it's currently going to the doctor with her boyfriend to luckily found out the gender of the baby.

~Marinette POV~

I woke up into the arms of a very handsome man, Adrien. I sighed and gently get up from the comfort of the bed.

Those past few months had been hard and I'm getting bigger and bigger.
Especially that I'm skinny and petit my belly looks a little bigger then it should be but I love it and Adrien adores it too.
Every night he talks to our child, tell's our little kitten stories or how excited we are for it to come out and he massage me too.
He is so sweet...

My thoughts were interrupted by Adrien touching my back with his hands.

" Morning Marinette" he said coming next to me.

" Good morning Adrien. You scared me a little so don't to that " i said petting him behind his ear.

" I'm sorry m'lady it won't happen again but... Good morning to you too my little kitten" he said kissing my belly. I smiled at him but remember that we have an appointment to be at in an hour.

" Come on my prince we have to be somewhere in an hour. " I said getting up and walking to the bathroom.

We were ready in about an hour and now we are walking to the doctor's office. It was a nice day today and that just made the excitement in me to get bigger.

" Oh kitty i can't wait to hear if our baby it's a boy or a girl" i said smiling brightly at him.

"Wait what? Is it today? " He asked stoping to look at me.

" Of course my kitty now let's go i can't keep my excitement anymore" i said jumping and smiling.

" Alright let's go but stop jumping i don't want you to get hurt" he said taking my hand again and we started walking to the doctor.

We arrived in no time and patiently waiting for the doctor to call us in.

" What do you think it will be" i asked leaning on Adrien's shoulder.

" Well i want a boy but I really want a girl too ...this is hard " he said.
" What about you princess, what do you want ?" He asked looking at me with his emerald green eyes.

" I don't really care if it is a boy or a girl as long as it is healthy" i said kissing his forehead. He was wearing a mask to not be recognized, had his hair caught in a small ponytail and he was wearing glasses too. He's eyesight was a little problematic so he went to the doctor and now he wears glasses.
And he is hot.

" Miss Dupain-Cheng you are up next please come inside" the doctor said opening the door for us.

I got inside her office with Adrian right behind me and sat on the table. She put the cold gel on my stomach and started the ultrasound.
The room was soon filled with the sound of the baby's heart.

" Looks like the baby is looking pretty good and it's healthy. Everything is going perfect miss no need to worry for now" she said smiling at us removing her gloves.

I was a little upset that we didn't know what gender is our child. I looked at Adrien and he look sad as well.

" Excuse me ms but is there a chance you can tell us the gender of the baby" Adrien asked hopefully.

" Oh yes I'm very sorry. Let's see" she said looking at the screen.

" You are going to have a healthy little...." She said looking closer this time.

" Girl!" She said smiling at us again.

I was happy so happy. A little baby girl oh how excited I am. I could feel tears forming in my eyes.
I looked at Adrien and he was crying but those seems to be happy tears.

I wiped the gel off my stomach and hugged Adrien.

~Adrien POV~

I can't believe it a girl I'm going to have a baby girl.
I hugged Marinette tighter.

We soon left the doctor's office and walked outside.
As soon as we were out I removed my mask and kissed her sweet lips.

" I'm so happy m'lady! " I said kissing her again.
" We are going to have a little princess" i said hugging her.
" Thank you, thank you so much" i told her hugging her tighter.

" Thank you too for being always here for me" she said wiping her tears. We kissed again, a long passionate kiss.

" Let's go buy some things for our baby girl " i said taking her hand into mine.

" Oh we have so much to buy and to prepare her room before she is born" she said sighing.

I smiled at her " What should we name her" i asked curiously.

" Emma. I always loved that name" she said looking into my eyes.

" Then Emma it is, such a beautiful name. It reminds me of my mother's name " i said looking down.

" Oh my poor little kitten don't be sad I'm sure she was going to be very proud of you" she said putting a hand on my face and wiping a tear.

" I know, thanks" i said kissing her hand. She giggled and kissed my nose. I smiled at her feeling better already.

She is really the best thing that happened in my life and now she is caring our child.
I love her and i won't let anything bad happen to her.
