Chapter 18

~Marinette POV~

We just arrived home and my legs were killing me.
But we got a lot of things for our little Emma.
I smiled thinking about our baby girl. I wander what she'll look, will she have blue eyes or green eyes, blond hair or midnight blue hair.

" What are you thinking about m'lady" asked my kitty putting the stuff we got on the floor for now.

" Emma" it was all i said and putted a hand on my stomach, rubbing it gently.

She smiled at me, getting closer to me and kissed my lips.
He kissed me again and again each kiss more passionate then the other.

" All right kitten slow down you know I can't control my hormones very well now" i said stepping back a little.

" I'm sorry m'lady i just couldn't control myself anymore. You are so beautiful and the fact that we found out the gender of the baby only made my excitement bigger" he smiled at me, rubbing his neck.

" How about we put all the stuff in Emma's room and then we prepare a meal together" i asked putting my hands around his neck and kissed his nose.

" That's a great idea purr-incess" he said. With that we started another kiss and i bend down wanting to help him moving the things to the child's room.

" What are you doing Marinette! Put that down" Adrien said panicked.

" But I want to help you. Those are heavy" i said trying to defend myself.

" Exactly those things are heavy. I don't want you, a pregnant woman, moving stuff." He said with a little anger in his voice.

" I'm sorry..." I said putting down the baby's bed.

" Here you can have this" he said handing me the pink bed sheets.

I didn't say anything I just walked to Emma's room and waited for him there.
Once everything was in the room he begins to mount the bed in silence.

I was sitting on the floor looking at the few clothes and toys we got.
They where so tiny. I smiled at them and got up, walking to mine and Adrien's room to change into something more comfortable.

I sighed, rubbing my belly.
I know Adrien just wants to protect me and the baby but he acts like I can't do literally anything.

" Marinette are you ok?" Asked my kwamii with big worried eyes.

" Yeah ...it's just *sigh*" i don't even know how to explain it to my kwamii who is in the same house as me and hears all we talk about.

" You can tell me everything Marinette. I won't judge you" she said smiling at me.

" I feel like Adrien doesn't think I am capable of keeping myself safe. He doesn't even let me bath alone, i love his company but sometimes he acts like i can't do anything." i said tearing up a little, at this point I don't even know if it is the hormones that did this to me or the fact that Adrien doesn't think I can keep our baby safe. I know my limits, it's my body, i know when to stop...

" Oh Marinette... He's just worried about you two. He lost him mother at a young age and after that his father ignored him completely. Now you are the only thing that he has and the fact that you two are going to become a family soon it's just amazing. He doesn't want you hurt he loves you and he's afraid of being alone again" Tikki said sitting in my palm.

Now i started crying harder. Tikkis words really got to me. Of course my kitty is worried what will he do if he lost me and Emma now... He'll truly lose everything.

" M'lady I finish- Why are you crying?!" He asked scared and ran to me, kneeling down in front of me.

" Please tell me what wrong Marinette" he said putting his forehead on mine.
