Saturday, 20th, one week before the big break out, Shadow was once again out in the field pouring blood on his claws. Human blood, everload blood. Coming to a day's end, Shadow stood on an empty field, completely drenched in sweat and blood. He looked around himself, observing the bodies of his enemies eerily pleased with himself. "How many humans did you kill?" A voice asked Shadow, making him assume attack position startled. Shadow Turned around to se crimson looking down at him. "Today?" She continued. "34, I've killed 34 people" Shadow responded A bit quiet. "And pokemon?" Crimson asked, with no response. "How many pokemon have you killed?" She asked once again, and not getting a response from Shadow. "How many. Pokemon. Have. You, killed?"She asked one last time. "204- I've killed 204 pokemon, all trained" Shadow confessed. Crimson widened her eyes in fear and stepped back a little. "But why? Why kill? That is not how we are meant to fight" She argued. "Because I can't avoid it ok? Because spilled blood fills with thrill. Because I am sadistic. Because I am the son of the dark prince and carry all his darkness inside. Because I was made to be "the dark one" Ok? That's why" Shadow said in a irritated, loud voice. "I see, so what if you are the lucario of darkness? What if you have no other destiny than to be evil's vessel? Being gifted with a dark aura is a miracle, most Pokémon had to go through a painful transformation in a lab, and when they get out they can't think for them selfs. We have been gifted the power just like that, the single most destructive force in the universe is in your palms" Crimson said putting one hand on his paw. "So think of it as a gift and not a curse, because it's not" As Crimson held Shadow's paws, they looked each other in the eyes for a solid minute. "T- thank you Crimson, I really needed that, I- I think you are right, it's not a curse, it's a gift. So I should just embrace the darkness?" Shadow asked as he pulled his paws back slowly. "Yes, close your eyes and let all that dark aura flow in your veins. Open any and all blockades that you might have" Shadow was a bit hesitant but closed his eyes and took a deep breath... all the sounds around him became quiet. He could not feel the floor, then he felt as if he was falling, Faster and faster and faster AND FASTER and then stop. It jolted his eyes open, as he looked around panicked he saw that red orb that Lore showed him the other day. Shadow approached the orb and as he got close and put a paw on it, a huge spider web crack appeared with a huge boom, this made shadow step back. "That is the amount of people you killed" Shadow jumped a little to his side as Lore suddenly appeared. "What?" Shadow asked. "Every single line that this spider web gets is one more victim that you killed, this alone could break the orb" This put shadow into deep thought, is this the truth? No, no! No way that is the truth fuck lore that's not true, but lore is truthful... "I suggest you don't embrace the darkness if you don't want things to happen..." lore spoke cutting Shadows train of thought "like what bad things?" He asked "I don't know, can't say" he said before turning back and walking toward the darkness. "WHAT BAD THING!?" Shadow yelled at lore, who was still walking away. "Have fun on your trip back" lore waved away. Suddenly Shadow felt stinging pain in his chest, he felt his heart beat faster and faster, hurting more and more every single beat... he felt as if it would break out of its cage in just a few more beats... faster and faster... and then when he could not bare it any more, it stopped. His heart completely stopped, his entire body froze. In an instant shock is eyes jolted awake, he was back in the open field, he could feel he was resting on something oddly comfortable. He tilted his head up and saw Crimson looking at him in the eyes, then he realized his head was on her lap. "Hello, had a good time astro-projecting?" She asked with a smile. "It was... weird" he answered. "Thanks for the help Crimson" Shadow continued. Wow, was that real? I still can't tell it they are, I should talk to lore about it... what is his game plan anyways? "You alright? You look worried" Crimson asked, putting one hand on his forehead. "Yeah I'm alright, just tired that's all" he answered. "Well sleep, I don't mind" Crimson offered. "What do you mean? Like right here right now? On your lab?" He asked quite stunned. "Well I don't see you making any efforts to move either way so you must be comfortable" she answered. "Umm, ok" Shadow got himself sideways on her lap, one hand resting on her thigh, he could feel her hand on his shoulder. He felt at peace, after a long time he finally was at peace. He closed his eyes and quickly fell to sleep.
