Broken Soul: Dark Figures

Chapter 1

For a whole month after Shadow's encounter with Zolitare, the crew spent it on creating the Quantum Mutator. Once it was finished, Shadow had to admit it was gnarly AF. "I will be in here for 2 weeks, when I come out I will be at my full power" Zolitare had said, well it has been 3 weeks and still nothing.
"Do you think he is almost out brother?" Sliver said this, snapping Shadow out of his trance of thought. "Maybe" Shadow said, he was getting tired of the waiting and doing nothing, he wanted some action. "He may need longer due to his time outside the lab though" he added looking at Silver's deflated expression Why do I even care? I'm just doing this to roam freely, like Zolitare, nothing more, right? "He will be here soon though" Shadow finished.
        Just as Silver was going to speak Red came in "Cmon guys inside the poke ball, we are going to a gym" YES! Some kind of action. Shadow reluctantly went into his dark and eerie ball while Silver went into his divine-looking ball.
         Shadow could hear and see everything that ash could see inside his ball, one of the few good things of the ball, hosting. "Welcome to the crimson Gym! You will be fighting gym leader, Sirkam" The announcer said.
Red's team: Pikachu, Charizard, Bulbasaur, Greninja, Sliver, and Shadow
Sirkam's team: Houndoom, Centiskorch, Charizard, Coalossal, Turtonator, Sizzlipede

BATTLE BEGIN!

"Bulbasaur go!" Red shouted "Sizzlipede attention to battle!" Sirkam shouted.
"Use razor leaf"..........that knocked out the opponent's pokemon, wow.
"Turtonator" The Turtonator  instantly shot a flame thrower as soon as it materialized out of the poke ball, this promptly sent Bulbasaur flying into a wall and knocking him out.
"Pikachu, go in there and use iron tail!" Red shouted as his Pikachu charged into the arena with a silver tail hitting Turtonator and sending him back a few steps.
"Use your flamethrower again" Flames engulfed Pikachu burning him, but he was still standing.                     "Use your Iron tail!" Pikachu jumped up in the air with his glowing tail and started to come down on Turtonator. Sirkam smiled and snaped, as soon as this happened Turtonator caught Pikachu's Iron tail and hit him with a flame thrower at close range and then tossed him at the wall. This rendered Pikachu unable to battle. Red just let out a frustrated *tch* and put Pikachu away.                                                  "Charizard, go!" The Charizard gave a massive roar before locking arms with Turtonator as they tried to over power eachother. After Red saw the Turtonator giving way he instantly called for a Seismic  Toss, which Charizard quickly did. When Turtonator crashed down his explosive spikes went off sending him flying, as he was in mid air Red yelled "Dragon Tail" and charizard knocked him back down with his dragon tail. This made Turtonator faint.                                                                                 "Houndoom, Present your self" a Houndoom materialized its self in the arena battle ready. "hit him with an Inferno" Sirkam said. this did not affect Charizard much and the Charizard letaliated with a dragon tail. After this move Shadow noticed that Sirkam Looked towards Red's belt and looked alarmed as he looked at it. What did he see? did he see me and Silver's balls? Whatever he saw made him retreat his pokemon and call out his Coalossal "Mega Punch" The pokemon proceded to punch charizard and before Red could say anything Sirkam called for a Mega kick and then attacked him with an over heat knocking Charizard out. "hey what was that!?" red yelled "In my gym, there are no play by play rules" Shadow could feel red getting well, red. Red then sent out his Greninja and before the greninja even fully materialized the Coalossal started assaulting him with mega punches. One of Red's most powerful pokemon, defeated in under 30 seconds, Good luck Silver. apparently Silver knew what was up because first thing he did without red's saying so was put up a mirror dimension. Silver looked serious about this one, he looked at ash with a serious expression and ash instantly took a step back and nodded, as the coalossal was about to assult him again he used a aura blast and and made it pre-maturely explode and used it as a shield, smart. He then formed a sphere and shot it, net nobody. it silently disappeared and after a few seconds the Coalossoal fainted. Sirkam then sent out his houndoom again, Silver' mirror dimension broke. "Beat up" Just then 2 of Sirkam's pokeballs opened and a Charizard and a Centiskorch came out and jumped Silver. since silver was still a weakling  this defeated him. "Shadow, please do this" Red said as he tossed Shadow's ball. Show time. "Beat up" Perfect. As pokemon surrounded him, he let them assault him while he was storing energy Lets see if I have enough darkness inside me. He then opened his eyes as they where glowing a crimson red and then released a huge wave of energy knocking everyone down and creating a crater around himself. he collapsed to the ground breathing hard, but he was still conscious. Chaos control for the win baby. To his luck he heard the announcer "Battle over, Challenger Red wins" He then felt a hand on his shoulder and Red's voice say "Good battle buddy, rest up"

      He could hear voices from his ball. "Good work, No-one has defeated Sirkam yet, Here is your badge" " thanks, you should re-write your battle rules by the way, I only won by sheer luck" Luck? That is what he calls luck? No. He won because of me.

A few hours later

      Shadow awoke form a slumber when he was let out of his ball "good work everyone, amazing effort from everyone" Red said "You should formulate a strategy to counter Trainers like Sirkam"  Gary said "Yes, ok everyone lets start training, you are going to take turns trying to survive an assault from the rest of the team, Shadow you don't need to join since you already have it down." Shadow then proceeded to protest by saying "Well actually I don't think I should be using my chaos control very often, its not natural to me as it is to Zolitare and it took a lot of darkness in me,so I think that the more I use it the more my dark-" they then heard cracking from the mutator and went there promptly ignoring the hell out of Shadow. After a moment of watching the mutator exploded and out came what other knew as the pokemon king,but they knew as Zolitare. Everybody stared in awe as he stepped out. "Hello you guys, I am back"
