Chapter 18

Shadow hung his foot on the edge for a while but hen he heard a call from behind. "Hey darkie, we having a meeting" He heard zodiac call. "Yeah Ill be there" Shadow responded. He stepped down from the mountain into the cave and sat down. "OOk everyone i called this meeting because i think i finally made a successful plan to get the rest back, ok so here it is,  first shadow and I are going to approach...we will then follow by..." Words where blending, vision was blurring Shadow felt like he could not understand anything that was going on, his entire world was blurred, he could not focus. As his Vision cleared, all he could see is darkness and a big, crimson red orb. "What the hell?" Shadow asked, approaching the orb. Upon getting close he noticed small fractures all around this crystal barrier holding the contents in. He put one paw on the orb and watched as it got a huge crack lining from the bottom to the top. This made Shadow stagger back in fear. "What the fuck is this thing? And why is it breaking" He asked himself with shock. "It is your darkness" A voice from behind made him jump and get into attack position, only to see the stubby meowstic by his side. "My darkness? What do you mean?" Shadow asked, there where so many questions he had but that is the one that came out. "The red thing, in there" Lore pointed to the huge orb "It gets bigger, and more shattered the more darkness in you, This crack" Lore pointed at a small crack "Is the first time you unlocked chaos control, This one" He pointed to a significantly bigger one. "Is from your fight with all of us" He paused and looked at the huge crack along the side. "That is weird, that wasn't here before, what do you think this one is?" Lore asked Shadow genuinely confused. "Remember that thing on top of the mountain? What we saw? It really hurt me" Shadow confessed "hmm" Lore tiled his head to the side looking at shadow "Emotions, I don't get them" Lore said in his signature blank, lifeless stare. "Well... what ever you are feeling contributed to this crack" Lore said, and walked into the darkness disappearing. Shadow stayed a moment looking at the orb. All of a sudden he was falling, into a dark abyss, falling and falling. His heart was pounding on his chest, he felt as if it was falling faster than himself. And all of a sudden, he was back, on the meeting table. He looked around him, catching his breath and spotted Lore looking at him with his blank stare. He spotted a glim glow on Lore's eyes that was winding down, he guessed it was for his telekinetic powers. Voices started flooding in. "Shadow, Any thoughts to add?" A force on his side asked. "Huh? On what?" Shadow turned to his side to see Zolitare looking down to him. "On the plan" Zolitare responded. "Oh yeah, yes I think that that is... just perfect" Shadow responded in a haze.
Was that real? Is my Darkness actually here? How soon till I break? Did I only see that thanks to Lore or did he come in after? Was that even Lore or was I just imagining? There was so many thoughts going through Shadows head it made his head hurt "Ok then, that end this meeting, good bye for today everyone I have to go tend to business" Zolitare broke Shadow's train of thought, Stretching his enormous wings and leaving the cave in a boom of air. As shadow was standing up he noticed Lore still giving him a blank stare. Sometimes he had nightmares about that blank, dead stare. It sent shivers down his spine. He went out the cave to hunt, hunt everload soldiers.
