Y/N

I ran into the villa and looked around for my kids. I headed upstairs and found my mother standing outside of the kids room with a worried look on her face.

"Have they been in there all day?" I panted and tried to open the door, but it was locked.

"Yes, they won't come out and I'm worried because they haven't made a sound in the last half an hour." My mother was pale and trembling. "I shouldn't have allowed them to watch TV, I should have taken them outside to play in the sand."

"It's fine mom." I gently squeezed her hand then I knocked on the kids door. "Hyun? Ae? Open the door." I waited for a response but there was nothing. "It's mommy." I started to panic when I heard no sign of life. "Hyun, Ae. If you're in there then open the door." My voice cracked. "Please... You're scaring me." I turned to my mother. "Mom, can you look for the master keys? They may be in the kitchen drawer somewhere or the master bedroom."

She nods and goes to the master bedroom to search for the keys.

I continued to knock on the door. "I know you're upset. Mommy's upset too. We can talk it out if you like. All you have to do is open the door."

My mother came rushing back with a set of keys in her hand and I started out all the keys.

When I finally opened the door, I walked inside and looked around. My kids were not in sight.

"Hyun! Ae!" I started to cry then I saw the open window with sheets tied leading downwards. "Come on kids... This isn't a movie." I muttered to myself then I started running outside of the house.

I ran around the neighborhood calling out their names since they couldn't have gotten far. My mother had stayed behind in case the kids would return home.

"Hyun?! Ae!" I shouted.

I ran towards the city and the old granny's bakery. The kids were adventurous, but they also loved familiarity. They would most likely go the same route Jimin and I had taken them on their birthday.

Then I started asking people if they have seen the twins. "Excuse me, have you seen a little boy and a little girl? Twins about 4 feet tall?"

Most people shook their heads, but when I reached the bakery. "Oh those two? I remember seeing them about 10 minutes ago. They looked like they were crying."

"Do you know where they went?"

"I asked them if they needed help but they shook their heads and went that way." The employee at the bakery pointed in the direction where the kids ran off to.

I had thanked them and started sprinting. I had only stopped when my phone started to ring, and I had picked it up hoping that it would be my mother telling me that the kids had gotten home safe and sound.

"Did you find them?" I panted and tried to catch my breath.

"Yes, I did." It wasn't my mother, but I was shocked yet relieved by the other person on the other line.

"Mrs. Park." I said. "Where are my children?"

"Come to my house." Then she simply hung up and I stared at my phone shocked.

How did my children end up with Jimin's mom, the person who wanted me to abort them, and why would she help me?

I called for a taxi and gave them the address to Mrs. Park's house. In a couple minutes, the taxi stopped in front of a huge mansion that I thought I would never step foot in for the rest of my life.
