A Unexpected Meeting[ON HIATUS]

I gasped and clutched the stitch on my side. I sunk to my feet and tried to catch my breath. I had been running, running away from that demented house for almost an hour without stopping.

My vision turned hazy as my body threatened to give out.

I sighed at my wolf, Jade's words.

Let me take control, you are in no state to go any further . Rest a while and give me the control. You know that you are in no state to continue any further.

I sigh, knowing Jade was right.. But I couldn't watch my wolf sacrifice for me anymore.

Jade is my best friend and if not for him, I would have died a long time ago. Jade never left me even when he had to suffer the pain of wolfsbane  and silver and always protected me and kept me safe. He took most of the pain of the torture so that I had to suffer less. With the amount of torture that Daniel inflicted on me, any werewolf would lose their wolf . But Jade hanged on for me. I pleaded and sobbed.

I smile at Jade's words and then close my eyes and let Jade take control.

After some time, Jade lets me take back control. I open my eyes and blink a few times to adjust to my surroundings. I was in a dimly lit forest clearing. There weren't many trees here. I walked to the edge of the forest and looked out from behind a tree. We were in the outskirts of a town or city. Confused, I asked

Where are we Jade?

Wolfsbridge . It's a city. We are at its outskirts. There is a nice place nearby. It's more like flats for rent than a hotel. The price is okay. Go there.

I sighed. I didn't deserve such a awesome wolf.

I giggled a little at the words of my crazy wolf.

People will literally think I am a thief or something if I walk out now. I have bruises and cuts all over my body and my clothes are nearly old rags.

Sigh. Look at your clothes idiot.

I looked down at my clothes. I was wearing a soft green hoodie which was three sizes bigger than mine, just like I preferred. I was wearing a pair of simple white jeans and a beautiful pair of converse. They were white like my hoodie and had leaves all over them.

My wolf had quite a amazing fashion sense.

Did you just go shopping while we were running for our lives?

What? Jade said defensively. I need some relaxing time too you know.

I rolled my eyes and sighed. I looked down at my hands which felt heavy. My hands were filled with shopping bags I didn't notice before. Goddess, this wolf will kill me one day. It looked as if he had raided a mall.

How much did you spend on this stuff Jade!?!!

Not much. You forgot you had a membership card. Due to that card we got 70% off in all these stuff. So you know....I got something. Or did you plan to run to the mall everyday? We need to create a new wardrobe you know....

I sighed at my wolf and simply walked out of the forest and made my way to the place he mentioned.
