3am Snack - Rytumn

3 am. The house was silent, other than the soft rattle of the vents.
Ryan sighed softly as he searched the kitchen. Nothing. The werewolf opened a cupboard and noticed a box. Bingo. He grabbed it and set it on the counter. While he was grabbing ingredients, he absentmindedly started to whistle. Common for him.

Autumn yawned softly as she stretched. Beside her was Wolf, who was still asleep. Careful to not wake her girlfriend, Autumn hopped off the bed and left the room. A noise caught her attention, making her stop dead in her tracks while she tried to pin point it. The hybrid followed the sound and ended up at the door to the kitchen. She leaned against the doorframe and tilted her head, sniffing the air.
"Mornin Autumn," Ryan spoke, breaking the silence.
"Morning Ry Ry." Autumn's gaze drifted to the glitch. "Whatcha cooking?"
"Just some mac & cheese." Ryan glanced over at her and tilted his head slightly. "Want some?"
"Yes," Autumn replied without thinking. She walked into the kitchen and sat down at a table. "Wolf's still asleep. Mind if I hang out here?"
Ryan just shrugged. "Go ahead." He went back to cooking, once again quietly whistling. Without thinking, Autumn joined in. Once she realized, she automatically apologized. Ryan glanced back at her. "Why? For whistling? Don't be."
"I don't know, it annoys some people," Autumn muttered softly.
"You'll know when I'm annoyed. So stop apologizing."
"Okay..." Autumn leaned back in the chair.
Ryan turned off the oven and grabbed some bowls. "You want half?"
"Yeah?" Autumn tilted her head, as if thinking 'why wouldn't I?'.
Ryan evenly split the pot between the two and went over to the table, setting hers in front of her. "Here." He turned to go downstairs.
"Thankssss Ry Ry," Autumn said in a cheery tone. Ryan just chuckled and went back over to her, ruffling her hair. "Anytime. I'll be downstairs."
"Nooooooooo," Autumn whined softly.
"Okay fine." Ryan playfully rolled his eyes and sat down beside her.
A moment of silence passed while the two ate. Out of nowhere, Autumn spoke up. "Ry Ry, teach me to make an egg. I need help."
"When Alex wakes up I will."
"Ok."
