AUDREYS POV
The minute I walked through the door I was immediantly pushed to the ground.
I looked up and saw Connor high fiving Trevor.
As I turned back I saw Connor give me an apologetic look.
That's odd.
I thought.
I shook it off and headed to first hour.
I kept on dreading the thought of the last hour. Adilae, my lab partner, and Bruce, Connor's lab partner, were both gone. Of course.
I managed to get through lunch without food being thrown at me, water dumped on my head, getting tripped or even just simple verbal harassment (Which is what a usual lunch day for me looks like). It actually felt quite odd.
The guys are all at their usual table, probably talking about lame stuff like video games and Mila Kunis.
I'm sitting at my table with Jenn, Andrea and Bethany. They all know how much I hate Connor and the guys and how much they hate me, but they continue to gush over them anyway.
"Did you hear about how Kian asked to borrow my notebook?" Andrea asked.
"Yes, I've heard every 10 times you've said it." I said, obviously annoyed.
"JC said he has something planned for my birthday next week. I wonder what it is!" Bethany wondered.
"Probably something lame and tacky." I say honestly.
"Did you see Sam's outfit today?" Jenn fangirled.
"Obviously. We go to the same school." I say rolling my eyes.
"Okay, what is your problem?" Bethany confronted.
"Nothing.." I mumbled. "Obviously something's wrong." Said Andrea.
"I'm perfectly fine." I said harshly. I didn't think about how harsh I sounded until I thought my words over.
"You're not. What's going on?"
"Nothing! God. Just leave me alone." I spat, running out the cafeteria.
CONNORS POV
I was talking with the boys about the dance that's coming up next month, and how I plan to prank it.
"Dude, that's so dope." JC said.
I turned to him. "Dope?"
"Yeah. Its slang."
"Okay? Anyways, you boys in? I can't do this on my own. I plan for this to be epic."
"We're in." The guys say in unison.
Before I could say another word I saw Audrey from across the cafeteria, screaming at her friends. I then saw her dash out, leaving her friends in awe.
I had this feeling that I should run after her, to comfort her and tell her that whatever happened will be okay.
But, what would my friends think? I can't just say "Aye, I'm gonna go run after Audrey, ya know? The girl we hate? Well yeah she looks sad so I'm gonna go chear her up. Be right back."
Yeah no thanks. I told the boys that I had to go finish my English quiz, surprisingly, they all believe it.
I ran down the hall to think of where she could have gone. This school is huge, there's no way I could find her.
My thought was interrupted by soft, gentle sobs.
I turned my head to hear where the noise was coming from. The janitors closet.
I came close to the door, and knocked quietly.
"Uhm.. Uh who is it?" She asks gently.
"Its Connor, open up."
Her breath hitched, I could tell. "Explain to me why I should."
"I want to help you.. You seem upset."
"Good job, now leave."
Damn.
Wasn't expecting that. I scratch the back of my head and left.
A/N Hey there.
I'm bad at these.
I never know what to say. So yeah hi. Bye. ? Idk.
