Chapter 14

CONNORS POV

And after that, I hadn't seen her since.

I know she's living the life up in Princeton University, but I sure do miss her. Maybe I'll visit her again one day.

I never even got the proper chance to say goodbye. The next morning she was gone. She graduated early and off she was.

I remember running to her house the very next day, apologizing, I wanted to be with her more than anything in the world.

But when I knocked her mom answered, "Oh Connor, what a surprise!" she said, "What can I do for you?" She asked seeming confused.

"I...I need to see Audrey." I pant from running.

She frowns. "Oh honey. You're too late. Didn't she tell you?" I shake my head no, waiting for her to continue.

"Her flight left earlier this morning...I'm so sorry!" her mom said.

20 minutes later I found myself at the airport buying a one way ticket to New Jersey.
