"- but that does not mean taking away time for your studies! Your going to school today and that's final."

"Ugh. Oh mother, why oh why, do you have to ruin my life?"

" That's an easy question. Because that's what parents are for. Now, hop to your closet, skip to your clothes, put them on like superman, and dash to the door. Your going to be late."

"Mom, putting adjectives in that sentence, is not going to make me anymore exited."

"Yes, I know, but I certainly can try."

Yes, people you read it. I have to go to the Dreaded School. Where old lady's tell you what to do, barely give you enough food to eat, and pick away your clothes telling you ' that's not what your supposed to wear'. Blah, blah, blah. Gosh, it sounds like the evil step mother from Cinderella. Sadly, I don't have any dancing skills,so I can't marry the first person I dance with. Another depressing thing is that I don't have a man to actually dance to. Well, I used to.... Yknow what? I'm not going to deal with this! I'm going to go to school, and I'm going to act like nothing ever happened. Yes, that seems reasonable.

"Hey, girlfran! Missed you yesterday! What happened?" My friend, Styphvie said.

Oh, crap. Hadn't thought about this one. Good news is, is that she's not as intimidating as Jesse. She'll be easy.

"Uh, a little headache, is all."

"Oh, well, I'm glad your feeling better. So how did the date go?" She said, practically daring me to answer it. Almost intimidating me. But not quite.

"Jesse, I told you to tell every one! What happened?!" ,I whined.

" In my defense, I was..... distracted." She says warily.

"Let me guess. You were hanging out with Briant again." I said with a flat voice.

" Maybe?"

Ugh. with Jesse, it's all about Briant. Briant. Briant. 'Briant gave me this. Briant is soo sweet. Did you hear what Briant did to me today?'.Their are very few times when the days she doesn't see Briant, that she actually sounds human and talks about things that are normal.

" Wait a minute. I'm confused. What was she supposed to tell us?" My two friends, Styphvie and Fidelity, asked.

" I asked Jesse to tell you guys what happened on my date but, Jesse was too blind-headed," I said giving her a silent glare , "to actually pay attention to what I was saying."

"Oh.", Fidelity said, " Well, what did happen?

" I really don't want to have to repeat myself. Here, I will just show you." , I said pulling out my phone. Once everybody saw, I put my phone back in the pockets of my jeans.

" What do you mean, ' nothing really happened'?!"

I rubbed the sides of my temples with my fingertips.
