"what are you tryna do after school?" aurora asked.
"i'm going over to this girl's house to 'study' later." ximena smirked as she held up air quotes.
i watched as aurora rolled her eyes, propping her head in her hand as she looked away from ximena.
ximena is so damn oblivious.
"what about you, jackson?" aurora asked a brow, sounding annoyed now.
"momma is taking me to get a tattoo," i grinned. "her friend kai is gonna do it."
"fire," ximena grinned as well. "what are you gonna get?"
i pulled my phone out, pulling up the picture of what momma had helped me design. i showed it to them.
"where are you getting it at?" aurora questioned.
i lifted my sleeve to point out an area on my left, upper arm.
"i'm excited as hell." i smiled.
"i bet. dude, when i turn eighteen next month, we've gotta get matching tattoos." ximena told me.
"bet." i agreed, holding out my hand out for our handshake.
"what about you, aurora?" ximena raised a brow after she finished our handshake. "are you gonna get matching tattoos with us? i mean, you're already eighteen, so..."
she shook her head. "no, thank you. tattoos seem painful as hell and i don't wanna go through that. and you know i'm scared of needles anyways."
"well, of course i knew that," ximena assured her. "i figured you wouldn't mind that much though since you can't really see the needles."
"you figured wrong."
ximena rolled her eyes, while i laughed. "lame ass." i teased.
"i'm not lame, fuck off." she flipped me off.
<~~~~~>
i sighed as i sat crisscrossed in my chair, turning to look at ximena. "why the fuck do we have math at the end of the day? i swear this class lasts for forever."
"right?" she scoffed. "it's annoying as fuck."
"indeed," i sighed. "it's not swag."
