I woke up suddenly to a loud banging. Uh oh, that group must of crashed in one of the houses around here. They're probably scavenging for anything that may serve useful.

I got out of bed quickly and pulled on my now tattered converse shoes and my tshirt. What do i do? I looked around and noticed that the window out of the bathroom on the otherside of the house had the lower part of the houses' roof just outside. I decided that was my only way to leave without them knowing i was there. I grabbed my dufflebag and pushed it onto the roof outside of the window, and climbed through after it. Shit, one of the group members is checking the backyard. He was just a kid, no older than me. i could probably take him out from here by throwing just a knife. Hes really cute though, and i cant risk gettinnhis attention if i miss. I decided to climb to the higher roof and lay flat. Hopefully he cant see me from that angle. I heard a muffled voice come from inside the house.

"Somebody has been here recently, the door is secured and that car outfront is cleared off with gas still in it. Carl, Michonne, if you find someone here who you dont know, dont let them leave. do what you must to make them stay, kill them if needed." I was getting scared now, then i heard another voice, a woman.

"Rick! We wont need to kill anyone unless theyre trying to kill us. You know that. The prison was a bust, thats not your fault, and it isnt whoever is heres' fault either." That reassured me a little bit, at least i wont be killed mercilessly. I peaked very slowly over the ledge to see where the boy went. He wasnt in the back yard anymore. I edged my way over to the other side of the house and peaked over the ledge. I noticed the group i had seen last night wandering over to the house across the street. There was three of them, a middle aged man, maybe 45ish, a younger woman, no older than 30, and a kid, maybe a bit younger than me. The man had a large silver pistol on his hip, looks like a revolver. The woman had a large sword of some sort. The boy had another pistol and a knife on his hips. I had a rifle in my duffle bag, and plenty ammunition to take them out. Only problem was my rifle was not quiet. They'd hear the first shot and run to take cover. I decided I'd let them be. I climbed down off of the roof and made my way into the brush behind the house. I guess the car gets to stay, as well as Theo.
