Sunrise slowly made its way around, the sun was bright this morning, and incredibly warm. I sat up and looked around. The walkers that were wandering about last night were no where to be seen. Good, time to go. I climbed down off of the rock, gathered my thoughts and decided to head back to the house i was staying in. I needed that car, hopefully those people didnt take it. There was another gun hidden under the seat along with two clips of ammo, there was also Theo's canteen of water as well. I was running low. I made my way back through the brush crossing paths with only one walker. Easy take down. I continued on until i saw the house through the branches and bushes. I scanned the backyards and the windows of the houses around including mine. No one in sight. I crept up to the back of the house and looked around the corner. Miraculously, the car was still there. It wasnt anything flashy or fancy, an older model Ford sedan. It worked well. I pulled the keys out of my bag and got into the car. I stuck the keys in the ignition and fired up the engine. Ah, i missed that sound. I shifted the car in reverse and backed out of the driveway. I shifted the car into drive, and drove along the road.
