Kiara's P.O.V.

"HAACHAMA, CHAMA!!!"

Such were the noises that were coming from the kitchen. It echoed throughout the church when everybody finished giving their personal feelings to us, recently legal-made couples. Everybody was baffled by the strange noises, looking about absentmindedly for the destination. Tables, chairs, cloths, presently made available by the church helpers. They were scattered together with different arrangements and decorations randomly throughout the church. Different groups of people choose at whichever table they would like to sit. Naturally, the girls and our friends sat the closest to us.

For us, Mori Calliope and I, Kiara Takanashi Calliope, Kiara Calliope for short, are sitting down in a specially made seat, just for us brides. The seats are in a prominent position in front of the audience with fancier decorations on our long table.

For curiosity, and curiosity purposes only, I wondered about the noise that has been happening for some time now. I eyed my Mori once more, and said this in a low and calming voice.

"Calli?"

"I have no idea."

That was fast. I haven't finished what I was saying.

"Calli? Who is that screaming person in the kitchen?"

"I can explain."

Excuses already.

"I saw on the Wedding website, saying that they were going to send their most Famous Chef. I said 'Naruhodo. That's lit.' I didn't mind of course, because they were having a discount on her. Happily on her arrival, I tried some of her dishes. They were alright. But I failed to take into account the other dishes that were beyond the scope of normal. It said that on the website, but it split my mind. I tried to contact the people from the website. To my recent knowledge, they say they weren't taking any refunds. So, we have to make do with her and hope for the best."

I listened to her and nodded at every point she made. So, you're saying:

"So the food, some of the food, isn't going to be normal?"

"Yeah."

Hah. Ok. So we have to hope for the best, at a wedding? We aren't in a boxing ring when every moment could lead to an injury. If this doesn't go smoothly, I'm gonna... Hmmm. You know what? I'm going to stay calm. I am hoping for the best. I trust Calli. She may have some gaps in her memory, but I still love her. Let's see what happens. It can't be that bad?

"HAA ~ CHA ~ MA ~ COOK ~ ING, HAA ~ CHAMA~, CHAMA~"

First it was shouting, now she was shouting while singing.

I'm getting a little annoyed.

Music was playing, but her voice was the most prominent. It was getting louder with each chorus.

"Here's your food sir."

Waiters and waitresses were pouring out of the kitchen with dishes of a singular variety. Three-course meal. So the order goes, first course, second course and the third course. This was the first. Let's see what it was.

"Here miss Calliope's."

They placed the appetizer in front of me. I gave it a taste test before I started eating.

"It's appetizing alright."

This soup I was drinking is supposed to make digesting the other food easier. Such is in the name. No special add-ons were in the soup, just liquid and nothing else. Nothing special. No feelings about it. It was normal. From everybody's face, no complaints arise.
