After leaving mountain bash the drive home was uneventful, except for the few attempts Kev made flirting with me. I was preoccupied with the thousands of thoughts circling my brain of why Kieran did what he did. Getting ready for school today I pulled my hair into a pony tail and forced myself into skinny jeans. I wore a tight black top, with a plaid jacket over top. If I felt like shit, at least I would make myself look good. I still hated the fact that Kieran had affected me that much. The nerve of him to say that Kev will "have" me, like I am something to be tossed around. How did he even know Kev wanted me?!
"LOW!!!" Liam broke my thoughts with his annoying scream.
"What!?" I snapped.
"Are you going to accelerate?"
"Oh ya sorry."
The light had turned green, and I didn't notice. I refuse to let Kieran affect me like this any longer.
"Katie is having a party later, and were going." Liam states.
"Um it's a Monday."
"Ya and?" he questions.
"And I have homework, plus we just got back from Mountain Bash!"
"Stop being lame, you don't have a choice so throw yourself a pity party now, and then I'll pick you up at 8pm." He explains.
With that he exits the car and leaves me to park. Wow great, now I have to attend a party that I don't even want to go to.
"I am rushing to first period because of course parking was shitty. I still hate my guidance counselor for giving me math for first period. I run to my seat as she is reading down the list for attendance.
"Hey, how are you?!" Kev asks.
I forgot I had math with Kev. I am not in the mood to flirt right now.
"Hi!, I am late lol, but good what about you?!"
"Mountain Bash was loads of fun! Are you going to Katies tonight?"
"I think Liam is forcing me to so yah aha." I reply.
"Haha, he never takes no for an answer. I am glad though! I will see you there!"
"Great!"
I don't know if that is great, I don't even know if I like Kev. I mean I guess this would be a good opportunity to see if I do? I don't even know. The rest of the school day went by quickly. I didn't run into Kieran, thank god. I spoke to soon because as I get to my car I see him, Kieran. He is making out with Brigid by his car. Ugh ew, typical. My stomach drops when I see them together, and I am just filled with an emotion, I am assuming is hate because I hate the kid. He is also parked right next to me and the whole parking lot is empty. I just can't believe what he did and all the feelings from that night come flooding back. I rush to my car and try to get in without them noticing. Mission unsuccessful.
"I've never seen you run so fast low." He exclaims.
"I've never seen so much spit!" I retort.
He stifles a laugh, shakes his head and looks down.
"You know that I don't use too much saliva." He adds with a wink.
I furrow my brows, because I am just realizing that no one knows we made out. He is implying that we did, in front of Brigid. My cheeks are red. Why does he have this effect on me, its seriously annoying.
