Nala's POV
I woke up later today, I was only just finished getting ready when Ash knocked on the door.
"Come in! It's not locked!" I called.
"Morning!" Ash greeted, cheerfully.
"Morning! Right I'm off. And no teaching him swear words, I will know if you do!" I called as I left.
"I won't! See you in a couple of hours!" Ashe called back. It took me 5 minutes to get to yogtowers. I looked at the cars in the car park. I could tell that Lewis was in cause his car was there, that meant that Hannah, Simon and maybe Kim(not Yogscast) was in as well. Duncan and Kim(Yogscast) were also in cause they get a ride from sjin in the morning. So that's about 7ish people in at the moment. Knowing that no one would be at the reception, I walked in through the front door and into the lift. I exited the lift and scanned the corridors, I made my way down to the common but was pulled into one of the offices. Next thing I know, I'm being held by the scruff of my neck against the was with a machete pointing at me. I looked up at my attacker and saw Duncan.
"Who are you?" He growled.
'He doesn't recognise me?' I asked myself, 'It's probably cause I have the mask on and my hair styled differently.
"Whoa. Calm down." I said, and was answered with the machete being moved closer to my neck.
"Now you wouldn't kill a 12 year old would you?" I asked as he glared at me.
"I would if I had to." He growled at me.
"Why?" I asked, interested.
"Your a nosy one aren't you? I don't like people like you." He growled, his voice getting harsher with each word. The machete also getting closer then I would of hoped it would. Suddenly I felt the cold metal of the machete blade against my neck and a small bit of blood running down my neck.
"Please...Stop." I pleaded. Duncan shook his head and laughed like he was mad. Though as he laughed, Sjin happened to be walking past and the noise caught his attention. I saw him stop outside but didn't look around for the source of noise. I could feel the blade cutting deeper and more blood being spilt.
"Please..Stop....Help." I gasped, I was losing oxygen due to being held by the neck and being cut at the same time.
"No one to help you, you little bugger" Duncan said, evilly. This also caught Sjins attention and he looked around, he looked into Duncan's room, where he saw me being held there. He looked panicked when he ran to the door and tried to open it but it was locked. Sjin gave me a sad look before he ran of. To where, I don't know.
I soon found out where it was he had gone because he came back accompanied by Lewis who held a set of keys. I could hear the lock being unlocked and shouts from Lewis.
"Duncan!" He yelled, "Leave the girl alone!"
"She is trespassing!" Duncan yelled back.
"So! Doesn't mean you can fucking kill her!" Lewis retorted. It went like this for a few minutes before Duncan dropped me to the floor and had an heated argument with Lewis. Sjin took the chance to come over to me and help me up. He lead me out of the room. Neither of the boys noticed us leave. Sjin took me into the second common room, seeing as Hat films had taken over the first one. He sat me on the couch and searched through cupboards for a first aid kit.
"So, what are you doing here?" He asked as he searched. I didn't reply, I was still in shock that 1)Duncan tried to kill me and 2) no one recognised me. Sjin noticed the silence that followed his question and he looked around, I had got my phone out and was looking through some of my old pictures. He made his way over to me and sat down.
"What you looking at?" He asked.
"Nothing of importance." I replied, turning my phone off.
"Oh..ok." Sjin replied, awkwardly. We sat like that for a few minutes before Duncan came in, apologised to me and left. Lewis then entered and told Sjin to go record something, he wanted to talk to me alone. I was in trouble. Once Sjin had left, Lewis sat on the coffee table in front of me.
"What are you doing here?" He asked, in a soft voice.
"Visiting old friends." I replied, quietly.
"Who are your friends?" He asked, his voice still soft.
"Kim, I was friends with her in the orphanage." I replied.
"Stay here for while, everyone is recording at the moment. They won't be long, then you can see them again." Lewis said, getting up to leave, "I'm gonna have to leave, Simon is waiting for me."
"Okay. Bye." I said, picking up my phone and unlocking it. I played on a few games before getting up and going for a wander around the corridors. Nearly everyone was in now and they was all recording. They would soon be finished and would head to the common room or kitchen for a break. I came to a dead end, there was a single window that was open.
"Hey, you." I heard from behind me, I turned and saw Duncan. I backed away slightly.
"Calm down. I'm not gonna do anything." He carried on. I glanced at my watch them behind me at the open window.
"You may wanna stay here for a while, everyone's just finished recording so it's gonna be a bit manic." He continued, "Lewis told me you wanted to see his daughter, Kim. If you wait for like 10-15 minutes then most people would of gone back to their offices."
"Okay, thanks for the advice." I replied. Duncan nodded and left. I stood watching the streets of Bristol from the window. I waited for a while before I made my way back to the common room, where I found Lewis and Hannah talking, Simon eating Jaffas and Kim sat near the door on a laptop. I walked in the door and crouched down next to her.
"Hey." I said, making her jump slightly.
"Uh..hi...Who are you?" She asked
"You don't remember me?" I asked in a pretend hurt voice.
"No...Sorry." Kim replied.
"Not even if I was to show you this?" I asked, showing her my phone wallpaper. It was a bunch of pictures of us two together, messing around. No one has noticed us talking.
"Nala?" Kim asked in disbelief, causing Lewis to look over at us. He thought he had heard my name, but no one else in the room noticed.
"The one and only." I replied, smiling.
"I missed you." She said putting the laptop to the side and giving me a hug which I returned.
"How's Kovu?" She asked. I saw Lewis move closer slightly out the corner of my eye.
"Good. We've moved out of the orphanage now." I replied, smiling.
"Cool." She replied
"So, you having fun being a yogkid?" I joked, causing her to laugh a bit.
"Yeah, it's so much fun." she replied, in between laughs.
"Who's your favourite Yog then, I trust that you've met them all by now?" I asked.
"I met nearly all of them on my first day here! But my favourite other then Lewis or Hannah, has to be Sjin! I've been having building lesson on Minecraft from him." Kim replied.
"Awesome. You must show me one day." I say, "Well I'm glad your having fun with your new family!" Suddenly I was lifted up in the air from behind.
"Lewis! Put me down!" I shouted at him, in between laughs.
"How about no?" He asked, joking but put me down anyway.
"Thank you." I said. Now everyone else had turned their attention to me.
"What? Why you all gotta stare at me?" I asked.
"Cause we wanna!" Simon called from his position on the couch.
"Whatever you say Simon." I called back, sending him into laughing fits.
"Lewis! Guess who's returned?" Kim asked from next to me.
"If I heard right, I'd have to say Nala." He replied.
"Nosey bugger." I said, under my breath.
"What was that?" Lewis asked.
"What was what?" I asked. Lewis shook his head, laughing slightly. Next thing I know I'm bombarded with hugs and light hits for me leaving. Everyone had came into the common room to say hi and stuff to me by now and it's a good job.
"Right, I gotta go. I'll be back in a bit." I called as I left.
"Where are you going?" Sips called from the common room.
"The younger kim(not Yogscast) will know why I'm going but I'm not telling you where I'm going! See us!" I called as I left, getting a few byes in return.
