Nala's POV
A few days later, we was all busy packing away our stuff, when Rythian and a few others came over to me.
"Hey...." Rythian said, I didn't look up.
"Hi." I replied, somewhat sadly.
"So, we Yogs are having a party kinda thing. you know to celebrate Lewis and Hannah's engagement. We was wondering if you and Ash could come?" Simon asked, I thought for a while before saying,
"Depends...When and where?"
"Umm...12ish tomorrow, at the warehouse near yogtowers." Ridgedog replied, I nodded.
"Sure, that'll be fun." I said, smiling. The other looked happy and left me to carry on packing, my smile vanished. I was nearly done packing when I got a unknown number call me, I answered it.
"Hi, just wanted to say you now have a brother. Bye." my ex-father said, before he hung up. I started at the phone before throwing it on the ground and walking deeper into the forest.
*Time skip, few hours later*
I decided to go back up, as it was around noon and I wanted to be gone before it gets dark. As I passed the tent, I picked up my phone, turned it on and saw I had a few missed calls from Ash and some yog members. I sighed, turned my phone off and carried on walking.
"Nala!" I heard as I climbed the small hill, "Where have you been, I had to pack up the whole of the tent!"
"Whatever." I said under my breath before carrying on a bit louder, "Sorry, you ready to go?"
"Yeah" Ash replied, waving to the Yogs and following me back towards the base we called home.
"So where were you?" Ash asked.
"Down by the river." I replied.
"Oh, ok. let's get back and get ourselves ready for tomorrow." she said, running on ahead slightly.
"Yeah, come on then." I replied, catching up to her. We ran home and found some clothes ready for tomorrow's party. Suddenly, my phone buzzed, it was a text from the post, I had some things arrive for me.
"Ash, I'm gonna go get some food and drink for the party. be back soon." I called walking out the door.
"Okay." she called back, slightly muffled.
I made my way down the local post office and collected my stuff, there was a piece of parchment rolled up and a present wrapped up. I then went to the local shop and bought loads of sweets, some wine and lots of shandy. I may only be a teenager but the shop lets me buy booze for a cheap price. I put everything in my backpack, thanked the shopkeeper and headed home.
"I'm home!" I called putting my bag down. I heard some footsteps and Ash appeared, smiling.
"I ordered some pizza, hope you don't mind." she said.
"That's no problem, I'll go wait outside in the street for it." I said leaving the room, I didn't wait long for the pizza to arrive. I climbed the fire ladder and we both are our pizza before going to bed.
