AN: This was a long and difficult chapter. It is also the worst writing I have done in this book. This chapter is nowhere near the quality I wanted it to be, but I have spent too much time on it already.
I just hope it is not too bad and that you get some answers. Some angst.. Some revelations...fingers crossed.
And more questions.
I know, I know. I am a bitch 😄

Kongpob was glancing at Wad now aand then, concerned for his friend after his little spat with Prem. The security chief didn't show any outward distress, but Kongpob knew his friend well. This incident will definitely affect him and it will come out when it gets too much. Wad never showed his feelings openly and if something was bothering him and it got too much he would suddenly lash out for no reason. Kongpob shook his head and decided to let things take their course.
It was several minutes later that they reached Arthit's place. Wad came as Kongpob did the same. "Thanks Wad. You can go home now, I am staying the night."
Wad nodded, already expecting this. "I will be here to pick you up for work tomorrow morning." Kongpob nodded and turned around to go, but he stopped. He faced Wad again, "Wad, we have been best friends for a long time. You know you can come to me with anything, right?"
Wad snorted a chuckle, "Where did that come by suddenly? And yes I know!"
The bossman chuckled and waved his friend off.
Arthit took a wiff of the curry and smiled satisfied. It was light and coconuty, and herby. He knew Kongpob would enjoy his fish dish very much. The rice was steaming and he had bought some pastries for dessert. He had wanted to cook an elaborate dinner for Kongpob since they started dating and tonight he felt like he was doing a wonderful job. He had made breakfast and shared snacks with his boyfriend, but not this elaborate yet.
The bell rang and Arthit skipped to open the door and found himself engulfed in warm arms. Arthit let out a satisfied moan, and snuggled closer. It took them several moments before they moved inside. The two set the table together, poured themselves glasses of white wine that Kongpob had brought and enjoyed the dinner. They were both pleasantly chatting together.
"You didn't have to do so much, you know?" Kongpob said even as he almost moaned at the taste of the tender fish.
Arthit chuckled, "It's not healthy to eat out all the time. Plus, I like cooking, especially when I can share it."
Kongpob grinned, smug. Arthit could feel his cheeks heating up at the way the younger man was looking at him. They stayed like that for a while, just catching up.
"So, what are your plans for the weekend Phii?"
"Oh, nothing much really. But Knott and Bright have been complaining of not getting to spend much time together. What with Tutah being with Arjun and I am.. Errmm.. Yeah. So, we decided that maybe we could spend Saturday together and we can meet up with our respective boyfriends in the evening.. It was just.. We have not decided anything yet. "
Kongpob could understand that. He seemed to have lesser time for his friends as well. He thought with what he know about Wad now, it would be good to have a friendship day. He waved his chopstick, "I think it's a wonderful idea Phii. Clearly, you guys need some time together. How is Tutah doing? I hope he's comfortable.. "
Arthit grinned, "He's doing really well. I think Arjun is really having a positive effect on him. He seems more confident now.. And happy as well. "
