"Elena. You said it was important. I rushed right over." Katie stated, sitting next to me.
"I have to tell my parents." I said. She looked at me and nodded, agreeing with me.
"I agree." She said.
"What if they get mad. I mean I'm still young." I said.
"Elena. I know your nervous. But your parents are the most understanding people I've ever met. Especially your mom." Katie said. I nodded, nervously, my eyes darting around the room. "Let's do it!" I said, standing up and hiding upstairs.

My parents were in the living room, sipping their coffee and reading books.
"Mom can I talk to you." I asked she nodded. "And you too, Dad." I said quickly.
"I don't have a easy way of saying this" I said, quite quickly.
"You can tell us anything." My mother stated, holding my hand.
"I'm...pregnant!" I blurted out, I closed my eyes waiting for the reaction. No one said anything, the silence made it extremely uncomfortable. I slowly opened my eyes to see my mother was smiling and my father looked shocked, but not angry. My mother stood up and pulled me into a tight embrace. I hugged her back, tightly at first and they it became softer. My father gave me a hug too.

I was thrilled that they weren't angry. My mother was beaming and so was my father.
"I'm going to be a grandma." My mother said, happily. I nodded and smiled. I felt tears sting my eyes. But I was sure they were tears of joys.

As much as the timing isn't right, I've excepted the fact. I'm going to be a mother and I need to everything for my baby.
