I was cleaning my room when I found my old sketch book, it was the one I took with me when I traveled almost halfway around the world.

I began to flip through the pages and found one that tugged on my heartstrings. It was one I drew of the people I was traveling with. They were a strange lot.

I didn't mind them that much, I even bonded with the three youngest ones of the group. A pair of twins, though they didn't look anything alike, and their cousin.

They didn't actually tell me where they were traveling, and I didn't think to ask. And when our little adventure together ended, I was sad to see them go. They promised that they would keep in touch, but it's been five years.

As I looked at the photograph, I began to think back on everything that happened when we were together.

We got chased my wolves.

Got lost in a cave the twins uncle told us was a short cut.

Got mugged and then met a homless man dressed in all gray.

We found the people that mugged us, I don't know how but we did.

Got chased by a bear.

Got mugged again.

I was this close to just go home, or hit them.

But when that little adventure, as the twins called it, was done we went our separate ways.

I missed them, but there wasn't much that I could do. I hope the uncle got a better sense of direction and didn't lead them off a cliff.
