Enemies to Lovers-Dreamnotfound

Once again..

George woke up and it was a great day for him. He was going to go adopt a cat, George has loved cats ever since his childhood, so he thought why not.

He snapped up in bed and ran to his closet, grabbing anything in his way he formed a decent outfit. As he walked out his room he saw Dream cooking food,

"Hey George! I cooked some bacon and eggs" Dream smiled
"Thank you, do you want to come with me to pick up this adopted cat? I'm very excited"

Dream looked back at George and nodded, "Hell yeah. More time i get to spend with you." Dream praised himself as George rolled his eyes.

"Ok, so the drive is 4 hours- George! you didn't tell me this" Dream looked upset, "I had plans today.." Dream sighed starting the car.

George's eyes softened, "I'm sorry, I'll go alone don't worry about it."

"No, there's no stopping me now. I'm already in the car, this will be a road trip."

"Can we stop at a gas station? I'm hungry again" George whined. Dream soon pulled into a gas station, and got out with George.

The two split up to go find some food and snacks.

"Hm how many monsters should i get-"
"You should get 3, it's my favorite number" A handsome man said leaning against the freezer door. George made eye contact with the stunning man, and got flushed red.

"thanks.." George whispered out, "What's that?" The man asked, "I said Thanks!" George semi yelled. The man scoffed,
"maybe you should be more respectful." He said getting closer to George. The two were inches away which made George uncomfortable..

"Hey baby, what's wrong.?" The two heard a loud voice getting closer by each word.

Dream swooped in and pulled George aside, "Hey fuck off." He said firmly as he watched the man stiffen up.

George looked up at the angry Dream and apologized, "Hey you don't gotta apologize, some men these days are idiots." Dream comforted as he paid for the things. George held onto Dreams hand tighter once they were walking out.

2 hours into the trip

George snapped open the monster drink and took small sips as he listens to the music, "gimme" Dream said extending his arm towards the drink.

"ah~ no dis one mine hmpf" George said wanting to act like a brat.
"Oh damn, that hurts my feelings George..I've been good to you." Dream says softly getting more firm as he made eye contact with George.

"EYES ON THE ROAD-DREAM!" Dream wheezed and continued driving, laughing at George who was very embarrassed.

3 hours into the trip

"sometimes i don't wanna be happ-"
"shut the fuck~ up~" Dream sang in beat. He laughed when George gave him the finger.

"I love you too" He snarled back at George, the same George who was sticking out his tongue.

Dream parked the car near another gas station and got out.

"wa- where are you going Dream?"
"to the bathroom"
"can i come"
"you wanna watch me pee? that's a little weird too weird for you george"
"no i have to pee too"
"really?"
"yeah Dream, can i come"
"you're adorable.."
"shut up before i stick my foot up your as-"

4 hours into the trip

"We're almost there" George's smile was as wide as the ocean. Dream thought this was cute.

"You're so cute, can i kiss you?" Dream said not taking his eye off of the road, George blushes as he shook his head 'no'.

He heard Dream sighed sadly and a frown spread on his face, "ok.." George whispered.
Dream laughed a bit, "It's ok, no pressure" Dream smiled.

George sighed of relief and scrolled through his phone, smiling at some posts Karl and Skeppy had made. "Whatcha watching?" Asked Dream.

George just ignored him, until Dream parked the car.
He snapped his head up to look at Dream who got out the car.

He was on a call with someone..? George the curious rolled down the window just so he could barely hear Dream, it was a bit muffled but enough for George.

"Oh hey Amanda"

"No no yeah, i'm driving a friend somewhere"
...
"Oh~Yup hes cute, i haven't heard from him in a while, i would date him but.." That's all George could hear.

His mouth slightly parted as tears ran down his face. "...so am I a toy to him..?"
"i mean yeah we aren't 'dating' but he said he'd wait for me.."

....

"George?? Ah- Why are you crying?"

..
"George, come on talk to me, what's wrong" -

"What's wrong is that you played me!"

Dream raised an eyebrow, "what are you talking about?"

"You said some guy is cute and that you would date him"

A long loud wheeze left Dreams mouth leaving George shocked.
"What i actually said was, 'Yeah he's mute that's why i haven't heard from him in a while, and i didn't say i would date him i said 'i wouldn't date him' you are the definition of a little baby" Dream laughed starting the car.

"B-but you said 'but' at the end of the conversation.." George muttered, Dream creased George's cheek softly, "At the end i said 'but i gotta go now bye' oh George you are so adorable" George held onto Dreams hand which was still holding onto his cheek.

The two made eye contact for a bit before Dream sighed and looked away, driving off into the sunset they listened to heatwaves...
