All the girls are excited for the ball which is today apart from Marinette who was finishing sewing the final touches of her dress and looked at the tux she made for Luka. Ill probably come home early, make sure the tux is ready just in case, I found a great university, ill tell you about it when I come home, she remembered his words but sighed as he still had not made it home yet and sighed sadly. Alya then came up to her bedroom and was dressed in a beautiful pastel orange gown and had her hair done up in a tight bun with orange and clear diamond jewels clipped into her hair and Marinette thought she looked beautiful.
"come on girl, stop sulking, he'll probably make it, don't forget Rose is sad too because Juleka went with them, just hand out with her if you need a dance, we are all here for you Marinette".
"thanks, Alya, I know all of that its just when the dance comes, and if Luka comes to the dance, I know that it will be the last dance, because he found a school and I just know its going to be far and I don't have money for train tickets, flights, I just know it will end up with long distance and that never works, ever!" Marinette cried on her friends' shoulder and all Alya could do was hug Marinette back and wiped her tears away.
Without speaking, Alya sat Marinette down on her makeup table and glammed her up for the ball making sure that her gown matched her makeup and put her hair up in two buns but the remaining hair that hung from the buns, and curled the ends and clipped on some jewels making sure that marionette had some glam in her hair, helped tie Lukas necklace around her neck which has a diamond guitar and Marinette let out a sad sigh but Alya tapped the side of her face to snap her out of the sadness and they then gave each other smiles and Alya finished Marinette's makeup and rushed to take the gown off the mannequin and that's when the blue haired teenager sighed and picked out the black corset from her draw and tightened herself in order to fit into the dress properly and give it shape. Alya helped tie up the ribbon and made sure her best friend was the most beautiful girl in the ball.
The girls waiting downstairs were flabbergasted when married climbed down the ladder from her room as they saw a beautiful silk gown with black netting around the skirt which matches the corset that acts as a bodice. Alya helped tie up Marinette's laced heels and the outfit was finally complete and all the girls were in awe as they could see their sad friend feeling unconfident.
"here, take this!" Marinette's mother cheered and handed her daughter a shot of plain vodka and the girls were all confused. "I'm not a mother who likes their children drinking and getting drunk, but your nerves are ratting like crazy, and I won't allow that to happen, now take it and go and have the time of your life!" everyone laughed especially Marinette who looked at her mother with confusion "just don't tell your father" she giggled, and marionette started to laugh also. All the girls counted down from three and Marinette downed her shot and felt the burning in her body but this time it felt good because her nerves started to numb.
"come on guys we are going to be late for the ball" was all she said, and they all started to cheer loud and head out the house and into the white gloss limo and headed on the Agreste household.

Marinette walked around the ball hall and watched everyone dancing and having fun and she loved watching everyone having fun, she walked around the buffet table eating all kinds of nibbles to try and ease her nerves but instead she just felt nauseous because she was alone and stressed out about everything. As she was scanning around the room, she noticed Adrien and Kagami arguing and knew it did not sound good. They must be out of the honeymoon phase she thought to herself and tried not to eavesdrop, but it was too hard not to hear.
