Chapter 6 - Lovesick

Adrien wakes up to a naked Marinette in his bed and groans as his head was pounding but did not want to wake Marinette up, so he quickly got up and showered. When he finished, he made sure the Marinette was still asleep and snuck downstairs and realised that breakfast was going to be him alone so instead he brought his tray up to his room and put it on the bedside table beside Marinette and waited for her to wake up. He made sure the tea was hot and to wait for Marinette to wake up he headed towards his piano to play a soft mellow tune so that he would not wake her, Plagg flew over to him and wanted to play along too and they both laughed and chuckled as they played five different songs into one, that was until Marinette was heard yawning and Plagg quickly flew away to hide and Adrien rushed over to the bed and made sure Marinette was okay.

                                "Good morning" he spoke warningly and Marinette gave him a smile as she wiped her eyes to wake up completely.

Adrien handed her breakfast, and she was shocked but loved every bit of it. It was awkward and silent as they were eating parts of the breakfast and did not know what to say.

                                "last night shouldn't have happened" Marinette said, and Adrien nodded agreeing to her and he felt worse than she did because he just did not feel like himself. "can we just keep it a secret, I don't know what our world would think if they found out this happened. I don't have time for drama, I have too much on my plate enough as it is and something at least worth fixing" Marinette said getting up and getting dressed.

Adrien forgot that the gown was ripped and picked up some spare yet comfortable clothes for Marinette to wear and they quickly snuck downstairs so that he could walk her home. The two spoke about how much they missed being friends with each other. As they walked in the bakery her parents rushed over to Marinette as if she were a missing child. Checking her making sure that she is okay.

                                    "mum I'm fine, please relax, Adrien looked after me last night, I was crying and upset about something and he looked after me, we cleaned the ballroom and realised it was extremely late and he let me stay in one of the guest rooms" Marinette said sounding drained of energy and said her goodbyes to Adrien and thank you as she lied but was happy that Adrien did not throw her away like nothing.

Marinette stayed in the living room to unwind for a while and played video games with her dad so that she could spend time with her family and then eventually headed upstairs. Marinette untied her hair whilst looking in the mirror noticing that Lukas Mannequin is unclothed, and she jumps as she sees him laying on the bed in the tux staring at her. She watches Luka get up and jumps in his arms as she missed him a lot Marinette could not help but smile but Luka was emotionless.

                                    "I missed you" she whispered kissing very inch of Lukas face but realised that Luka was not kissing back so she jumped down and could tell he looked insecure in some way. "what's wrong?"

                                     "do you love him still" he quietly spoke but Marinette stood back confused to why he was asking this question "I'm sorry was I not loud enough, Do You Love Him Still Marinette!" he rose his voice a bit louder making Marinette look down at the door that leads down to the kitchen hoping that her parents cant hear him.

                                      "why are you asking this?"

                                      "I wanted to surprise you Marinette, I came home and I knew you made me a tux so I did what I usually do, I came in through the window, put the tux on and ran to the Agreste's but when I got there you were dancing with him, eyes locked, smiling at each other as in you were in some weird fucking Disney movie so answer my question, do you still love him!?" Marinette started crying and was silent because Luka knew what happened, he just wanted to hear it from her. "do you" his voice broke and Marinette felt like collapsing.
