Into the Storm (Niley forever)

Chapter 12

Nick POV

OH MY GOD. I HAD NO IDEA THAT WOULD HAPPEN.  I thought to myself as Miley lay beside me out of breath. Our bodies were touching as I gazed into her eyes. After a while, we fell asleep, cuddling each other.  

I woke up the next day and found Miley still lying beside me. I quietly put on a bathrobe and went into the kitchen to get some coffee. The pot was already full from yesterday so I poured a full cup and went to the couch to watch some tv.

"Over the past week, we have seen Miley Cyrus going to the bar with ex-boyfriend Patrick Schwarzenegger. These were some photos taken by witnesses at the bar of the 2 over the week. Yesterday we actually got some action from the celebrities as Schwarzenegger decided to plant a kiss on Cyrus's lips. However, the witness that said this has added that Miley did not look happy after the kiss and ran out of there as fast as possible. Cyrus's bar dates with Schwarzenegger have been the first time we have seen her since that hospital incident with Nick Jonas. We still have not seen Jonas since that day as we have a source that has said he hasn't left his house since the injury. If Miley is meeting up with Patrick could that mean that Nick and Miley have broken up after only one month of being together? We have a witness on the line that was with Cyrus and Schwarzenegger at the bar. Hello. Can you hear us?"

"Hi! I am a worker at the bar Miley and Patrick were at so I saw them every day they were there."

"Can you explain to us how they were acting? Was there a relationship starting?"

"Over the first few days, they were just meeting as friends but I think Patrick wanted to be more than just friends so it was mainly on the last day that he made a move on her."

"Was the kiss his move?"

"During the night, he was sliding his hand up and down her leg. I don't think she really minded as she was just laughing however Patrick did say some disturbing things to Miley that I could just about overhear but she would just argue saying she was, "Still dating Nick." She would say it in a light-hearted way as if what she was saying was a joke or not very serious. He kissed her anyway and then she ran out."

"Thank you so much for all of this information!"

"Thank you, goodbye." and the phone line cut.

"Well, there you have it, folks. It seems like Nick and Miley are still together, but doesn't seem like they are going strong." He paused for a bit as his partner talked about Patrick. He then continued, cutting off his partner. "We just got some more information regarding Miley Cyrus. She was apparently stopped by some police officers for driving under the influence of alcohol. Somehow she passed all of the tests and did not get arrested."

"Wow! Miley Cyrus is one hell of a good drunk if she didn't get caught." His partner chimed in.

I quickly switched it off before I could hear any more about her. I sat there in silence drinking my coffee, thinking about those pictures. They really looked like they were on a date. Their body language told a story of their relationship but the way he looked at her was a completely different story. Patrick's expressions made it seem like he was deeply in love with her and when his hand was on her thigh I could see a look in his eyes. It scared me a bit. She didn't even look uncomfortable when his hands were touching her skin and caressing her thigh.

"You woke up early." I heard a voice say.

"Mhm." I knew who it was but I wasn't fully okay with what I had just seen.

"You okay?"

"Yeah. Great." My gaze was still on my cup of coffee. I could hear her walking over and she once again asked.

"Are you sure your okay?" I didn't know what to say to her so I turned on the tv and put it on another news channel.

"Miley Cyrus kisses Patrick Schwarzenegger."

I changed the channel again.

"Cyrus lip-locked with Schwarzenegger last night at a local bar."

I changed it again.

"Have Miley and Nick broken up?" I wasn't expecting that one and switched the tv off. 

"Nick I am so sorry this happened. I told you what happened last night and I told you that I am sorry. What else do you want from me?"

"Tell him you will never meet him again." I finally said. Keeping my eyes down.

"What?"

I look at her and she can see the seriousness in my eyes. "Tell Patrick that you will never see him again," I say. Enunciating every word.

"Nick he is one of my closest friends."

"I can't believe this."

"What can't you believe!?"

"That you are still friends with that jerk even though he kissed you and practically went to 3rd base with you yesterday!"

"He was probably just drunk! Cut him some slack!"

"Why would I allow my girlfriend to continue seeing a guy that she just cheated on me with."

"I didn't cheat on you-"

"Then what do you call kissing another guy when you have been in a committed relationship for a month."

"Nick please stop," She said as her eyes begin to fill with tears. "Please. It was a mistake."

"You keep on saying that but then you want to keep meeting him." I pause as I take a big breath in, trying to understand everything that has happened. She looked sorry but I wasn't completely buying it. "What do you think I will be thinking when you two are out together alone? I know guys like Patrick. I know what he could do to a girl like you."

"A GIRL LIKE ME!!!??? What you think I am just some helpless girl that can't take care of herself."

"I didn't mean it like that."

"Well, you obviously didn't mean it in any better way!"

"Look I am sorry but what do you expect. If I see another man - and not just any man, your ex-boyfriend - kissing you and touching your thighs, I will wonder what he would want to do next time you meet. Who knows, next time you guys are together he might not let you leave and you could get hurt. You already had that with one boyfriend, I don't want that to happen with another."
