Not In To Man

Forth sighed. Again. For the nth times.

He looked at his phone, to the beautiful girl who smile to him from the picture. Her named Shan, his mother's friend's daughter.

"Forth, just know her first. I won't force anything to you, but Aunty Lei insisted to make arrangement for you and her daughter know each other."

"Mom, did you try to make a wedding for me? I am just a new college student."

"No, Baby, of course not. Just make some good term with Shan. She is pretty, smart, and fun."

Yeah. His mother right. Shan is beautiful girl with smart and fun attitude. She attend to Bussiness Administration Fakulty, and sometimes she managed to come to engineering to say hi to Forth and her bestfriend since junior high--Mia and Cara, whose only two of them, girls who attend in engineering this year.

Forth have a litlle heart for Shan since his mother introductioned him to Shan in one of the casual meeting she and Shan's mother had. Shan too, always find a way to meet Forth.

They haven't date yet, but the tension when they together clearly high to some conclusion that one day they will become official.

But. Again. Forth sighed. Beam. His bold. His laugh. His beautifully handsome face. His kissed.

He is dangerous for heart. I want to stay safe and healthy, beside, I am not into man, said Forth on his mind. But, he can't release the taste of Beam sweet lip on his. He can forget how soft Beam cheek againts his neck. He can erased Beam seductive moan in his ear that night.

Forth let Beam slept that night, after Beam released his hand from hugging Forth tighly, gave him kissed and whispered about how sweet Forth's gummy smile. Forth just tought that Beam to drunk to know what he was been doing. Forth made Beam comfortabled in his bed then got out with heavy heart from the dorm, after informed Phana about Beam.

Its been three days now. Beam never come to the hall like usual to accompany Phana. Forth feeling weird.

"Ai'Forth! What are doing? Knotting eyebrows like you have someone you love died since morning?" Asked Park while smacked Forth's shoulder.

"Uh? No, nothing. I am just thinking."

"Look, that's Shan with Mia," Lam pointed finger to the girls whose coming towar to their table.

Shan tapped Forth's shoulder from behind and said softly. "Hi, Forth. How are you?"

Forth smiled and make a way for Shan to sit down on his side. "Hai, Shan."

Shan leaned on Forth and whispered something, and that make Forth laugh
They shared each other jokes and laugh together. Park and Lam starred each other and grinned. So easy to guessed, why Forth so gloomy all day. Shan come to their table make him better.

"Owh, i'd never thought that engineering had a beautiful girls too."

"Hi, Beam," greeted Park to someone behind Forth. "Its strange to see medical in here. How are you doing?"

Forth jolted and turned around, looked at Beam who smirk on him. Shan smiled and waved to him too.

"My Profesor need a hand to gave the document to yours."

"Have you done?" Asked Lam.

"Yes. Ah, I am so hungry now. What good here Park?" Beam asked Park cheerfully. He sat accross Forth and Shan, literally ignored them. "Can you give me reference?"

"Just stay still. I will take a padthai for you. We have the best padthai here. Do you mind?" Asked Lam.

"I love padthai. Thank, Lam. I owe you one."

Lam nodded and walked away to the food stall for padthai.

"Ai'Beam, why its rarely seen you in hall this day? Where have you been?" Asked Park.

Beam chuckled. "I've been sick. That stupid alcohol made me got migrain for two days."

"Oh, God," Park laughed out loud. "Have you ever drink before?"

"Yeah, but just for one or two botlles. Its four that night."

"Are you oke, now, Beam?" Forth asked with soft tone. Beam never look at him since he sat in front of him, and magically it make Forth feeling a litlle sad.

"No worry. I health like a bull."

Lam come with the padthai and Beam ate in silent. Park bussy with his phone, chatting with a girl he met in club earlier. Lam read his book. Forth starring at Beam continuesly.

"Forth, I have to come back to my class now," Shan leaned on Forth side. "Don't forget to come tomorrow. I'll wait."

Forth nodded to Shan. The girl touches Forth's hand softly before she leave the table.

"Forth, did you confess to her yet?" Asked Park.

Beam coughed. Lam and Forth grabbed the mineral water and gave it to Beam. Park knotted his eyebrows.

Beam glared to Forth and took the botlle from Lam. He drank much and continue to ate his lunch.

"What? No!" Forth replied in rushed. "Why you asked that, Park?"

"You and Shan had a good vibe together. Its clearly seen that you have feeling for each other. Just in time you two become official."

"No. No. Not like that." Forth starred at Beam with worry eyes. "She is my mother friend's daughter and her mother wish me to took care of her because she was the one and only daughter."

"But, you two like each other. She is beautiful, too. Just make a move and confess to her, before some other man snatch her from you," said Lam.

"Yeah. I think so too. She was waiting for you to confess, Forth. Just do it."

Beam finished his lunch and starred at Forth with unreadable eyes. He smirk and tilted his head to Park.

"Hei, Park, I know the new club in town. Some Mahidol girls made a crowded there. Wanna come this Friday?"

"I think you won't drink again after the bad migrain you had," Park chuckled.

"Nope. I just need one or two girl for fun. Broken heart is heavy."

"Huh?" Lam stunned. "Broken heart? Who? You? From who?"

Beam chuckled. "Some who had sweet gummy smile I ever see."

Beam just whispered, but Forth can read his lip movement. He gasped and silently trail his eyes to the man in front of him who slowly walked away from the table after tapped on Park and Lam' shoulder, but ignored him. Tottally. Like he never existed.

Forth feeling weird. Something from what Beam acted before, make his heart hurt.
