I packed all my things inside my luggage once we get our room. I checked again if there's something I forgot.

"Can we talk?". He's standing behind me.

"No". I simply said and closed my bag.

"Please, Liv". I shook my head.

"Please, Jake. I don't want to hear your voice". I said and put the key card of this room to the table.

I pulled my bag and walked out the room. The hotel staff waiting outside the room, she assisted me to my room just a few rooms away from him.

"Thank you". I said to her when we reached my room.

Once I get in my room, I let my body drop to the bed. I stared at the ceiling.

I get my laptop and make myself busy with my other work since our next meeting will be later at the dinner.

I talked to Vivian and updated me with the meeting she attended. I did all the things that made the time fly.

I put on my dress and do my makeup. It's already time to go to the last meeting for today. I got out of my room, I slightly jumped in surprise when I saw him standing outside my room.

I just looked at him emotionless. We went to the designated place for our dinner. It's a fancy dinner place that's why I decided to pick this dress. I walked inside while Jake was at the back.

"This way Ma'am, Sir". The waiter guided us to our table.

"Good to see you after a long time, Liv". Lila said, one of my closest business partners.

"Me too, Lila!". We hugged each other. I made a way to meet Jake.

"So... Mr. Shim, right?". Lila smirked.

"Yeah, Jake Shim of the Shim corporation. Glad to see you". They shake their hands.

"Let's eat first before we start?". Lila nugged me and looked in a mischievous way.

I playfully rolled my eyes to her and shook my head.

"So how's Auntie?". Lila asked while we were eating.

"She's fine, she is always with her friends". I slightly laughed.

"So you just got here yesterday, right?". She looked at Jake.

"Yeah, we just got here and tomorrow is our flight to go back". He responded then went back eating.

"Without your secretaries? Only the two of you?". She was obviously teasing us.

Well, she knows about him but not everything about him. We met when one of our stockholders introduced us to each other. We talked about business and then suddenly we became friends. I don't know how it became like that.

I slightly push her foot under the table. She looked at me like she did nothing.

We finished eating and started discussing the business.

"I hope to see you again soon. I really wanted to meet Auntie, Luanne and of course Sena! God knows how much I miss hanging out with you in your room". I smiled at her.

"I will try to bring them here if I have enough time". I said and hugged her tight.

"I will see you soon, hopefully". She crossed her fingers, I laughed at her.

"And I will see you soon too, Mr. Shim". She said to Jake.

"Take care of my friend". She patted his shoulder and gave me a wink.

I wanted to pull her hair because of her naughtiness.

"I will". He replied, I raised my eyebrows.

We said goodbye to each other and hugged each other for the last time.

We went back to the hotel after that. Still both of us stay quiet. I tried my best to ignore his presence and all.

I didn't say anything and just entered my room. I freshen up and change into my sleep wear. I made coffee and stayed in front of my laptop.

I finished my work and stretched my arms. I closed my laptop and went to my luggage to arrange it since we will go back tomorrow. After that I get my coffee and go to the balcony.

I take a deep breath and sip my coffee. I stayed for a minute, hearing the horn of the cars and the warm air.

I never thought that we would go back to this after what happened inside the ferris wheel. I thought we were all good.

I guess I'm not ready to open my heart to him. I can't let him enter my life again. I don't want to go back to every lonely night I've experienced for the past few years.

I thought this kind of scene only happens in movies, where everything goes back to normal then suddenly an antagonist comes and ruins everything.

"Can't sleep?". My eyes went where the voice was coming from, at the side.

I stayed quiet. The distance of our room is just a few rooms, like 2 rooms. I go back my eyes on the road.

"I know you're still mad at me. I know it was my fault. I'm sorry...". He continued when he didn't receive a word from me.

I looked down to my coffee, still not answering him.

"I hope you will forgive me, maybe not now and I understand that. I want you to know that I'm still here for you". I didn't want to hear any of that.

I went back inside my room and locked the door. I put down the empty mug and brush my teeth before going to bed.
