°Flashback•
"Jake, I need to talk to you".I said to the guy who's seating above my table.
"About what?". He looked at me.
"Just go to the rooftop before we go home". I said and pushed him to get off my table.
"But-"
Save by the bell, our calculus professor just got in the class. We eventually started the class. I tried to focus on the lesson but I couldn't, my hands didn't stop sweating, my heart can't stop beating too fast.
"Relax, relax. You can do that". I said to myself and exhaled sharply.
"Ms. Liv, can you repeat again what is differential calculus". I go back to myself and slowly stand up from my seat.
"I-uhm...". I cleared my throat.
"Differential calculus is a subfield of calculus where it deals with the rate of change of one quantity with respect to another". Thank God, I read the book in advance.
She nodded and indicated to me to sit down. I wiped my sweat on my forehead and looked at my side. He looked at me while trying to hide his laugh, I rolled my eyes to him.
The class ended, that's our last lesson because next week we are having a graduation picture, I'm so excited!
But I remembered again what I'm going to do. My heart rate increased again, I can't stop sighing.
"Don't be nervous! You can do that". I let out a deep breath and close my eyes
"What are you doing? They're waiting". Sena slapped my shoulder and pulled me out the room.
"Wa-wait! I forgot something, I will follow!". I lied and ran away from her.
I shifted to the side and went to the rooftop. I'm now standing in front of the door, I hold the doorknob and release another sigh.
I opened the door and slowly walked in, I looked around to find his figure. I saw him on the corner, when he saw me he smiled automatically.
"What is this? Why do you need to talk here on the rooftop?". He asked and extended his arms to me.
"It's important". I said and reached his hands.
"What is it?". He asked, we are now holding each other's hand.
I took another deep breath and looked at him straight to his eyes. Please, heart take it easy.
"I like you-no- I love you". I feel like I have become strong, I said it without stuttering.
