After the meeting I went back to my office and did the paperwork until 9 in the evening which is really late. I received a text from Jake.
He asked me if I'm already home, I said yes and called him after that. The truth is I'm just on my way home. I know he will be mad again if he knows it, so I preferred not to tell him.
The night ended quickly and it's already Friday. There's still a lot of paperwork on my table. I quickly started my day, thankfully I don't have a meeting today so I can focus more on this.
When it's already lunch time, Jake sends me food. I saw a note that called him once I received it. I quickly get my phone and find his number.
"Hello! What is this?". I asked with my energetic voice. I turned around the paper bag.
"I know you will eat late again, that's why I sent you that. I'm sorry, I can't come since I have a lunch meeting". I smiled when I heard his voice.
"No, it's okay. I'm fine, besides hearing your voice is enough- okay that's embarrassing, don't-"
"No! That's not embarrassing! It's sweet". But I heard him laughing his ass out.
"Yes it is! look at you , you're laughing!". I pout as if he can see that.
"I just find it cute. Okay that's enough". But then I still hear him laughing in silence.
"Never mind! Bye!-"
"Wait! What? Are you upset?". He laughed once again.
"Stop laughing! You're making me mad!". But on the other side my cheeks are red.
"Okay, okay! I will stop now". He exhaled.
"Make sure to eat that rightnow, I have to go now. I will meet you tomorrow, okay?". I nodded, then I remembered that I'm talking to him via phone.
"Yeah, yeah. Take care, I miss you". I said and leaned over my chair.
"I miss you too, do you want to go on a date later?". He asked.
"I'm too tired to go outside. Besides we will meet tomorrow, I will call you later". I said and started to put out the food from the bag.
"Okay, don't forget to eat that. I love you". I smiled when I heard his last words.
"Hmm... I love you too, Be safe. Byeee". I said then hung up the phone.
I opened it and saw a steak set. I prepared it and ate it quickly. I noticed that there's another box, I got it and saw strawberry cheesecake, it's my favorite! I quickly dug into it while working after I finished my lunch.
The next day it's already Saturday. I wake up feeling tired but I need to get up to get ready for Sena's birthday.
I went to the bathroom half asleep to take a shower. After that I went to my vanity to dry my hair, I curled it a little bit to make it wavy. I doubled my sunscreen all over my face and decided not to wear makeup, I just put lip balm.
