Chapter 6

In front of them were two not-so-happy belts.  All three are scared and start to run, as they go deeper into the forest.  All that could be heard was their breathing and the hooves of their hooves.  The belts were armed.  They both had bows and arrows behind them.

Theodore tries to disarm them, but he couldn't run away at the same time.  The boy takes Kaylie by the hand and follows Draco after a boulder.

- Shh, says Draco, checking to see if they're close.  I don't think I'm ... ahhhhh, and then there's a noise.

- Malfoy?  Kaylie asks, trying to find him in the dark, but she falls into the same pit.

- Don't be silly, says Theo, "and that's how the three of them end up somewhere three feet underground."  Kaylie?

- She's here, Draco shouted, placing Kaylie on a rock.  He is hit, and Malfoy lights the wand at his bleeding leg.

- Holt, says Theo, you're fine, can you go?  he says panicked.

- Yes, I can only help me up, she says, and the boy holds out his hand.

Kaylie gets up, but can't take two steps.  There was a lot of blood.

- Come on, says Draco, who wanted to take her in his arms.

- No, let me, please.  If you didn't come with us, it wouldn't take us that long and we were already at the castle.  If it weren't for you, I wouldn't fall into this pit.  If it weren't for you ...

- You know what, Draco begins, do it yourself then, he says, and leaves for one of the tunnels.

- Come on, begins Theodore, who takes Kaylie in his arms and walks down the other aisle.

After about an hour of walking without knowing where, the two take a break trying to decide what to do next.

- We could go back and throw some stars.  Maybe someone sees them.  Who knows, maybe Malfoy is already at the castle.  Let's go back and go his way.

- Not.  You can't carry me anymore, and I can't go, says Kaylie, who was trying to find a solution.  Let's rest.  Maybe my pain passes and we can leave in an hour or two.

- Okay, but not much, he said, then lay down on the floor with his head on Kaylie's feet.  The wound was on her ankle so it didn't bother her.

The two fall asleep and wake up maybe a little later than they would have liked.  Didn't anyone think they were missing?

Theodore Nott

  I didn't want to show him how scared I was.  We're trying to find a way out.  Take her to the infirmary as soon as possible.  We took her in our arms again and turned back, and then we went down the aisle where Malfoy left.  About 20 minutes later we saw something on the ground that terribly terrified us.

Kaylie Holt

With or without pain, I approached Draco, who was lying on the ground with a wand beside him.  I'm trying to wake him.  Lesinase.

- Draco, come on, come on, come on, Theo, who knows how long he's been like this, she says, and then Draco's head turns to them.  Thank God you're alive.

- What's Holt, he began, did you worry?

- Yeah, there's nothing wrong with him.  Same nonsense as always, I say, and Theo can't help but laugh.

Draco gets to his feet slightly and offers to carry me a little too.  I felt better, but he insisted.  Why couldn't it always be that way?  Anyway, I knew that in the light of day it would be Draco Malfoy again, the most insensitive person in the whole school who can't stand people like me.

Narrator

The three continue like this for a few more hours.  It must be morning already.

- What is that?  Kaylie asks, pointing to a patch of light.  Is it ...?

- EXIT, the boys shouted in unison.

It's getting closer and closer.  It wasn't the forest, it wasn't the castle grounds, it was the Hogsmeade.  They go to Three Brooms, where they ask for something to drink.

- Shouldn't you be at Hogwarts?  the bartender asks us.

- Oh, now we're going, we had something very important to do.

Around noon they arrive at Hogwarts, where Harry, Ron and Hermione were very worried.

- God, where have you been?  Hermione asks.  Kaylie, quickly to the infirmary.

Everyone goes after Kaylie to the infirmary.  What was he going to say?  Fell.  Yes.  Exact.  Fell.
