After my first class, I was in music, which I hoped would be my favorite.

"Hey, Sam!" I heard Ashton shout from behind, bolting towards me. "Hey Sam, what's your next class?"  He asked.

"I have music." I said skimming through my schedule.

"Oh, great! Me too." He said with that big, beautiful smile of his. The thing about Ashton is that he's actually hot. But I don't think he knows that for himself.

"Heyyyy Ashtooon!" A girl said from across the hall. She was wearing a white button up tank, a short black skirt, long white socks, and white vans. Did I mention, she was wearing a super short skirt? I don't even know if she was wearing any sort of underwear under it, either.

She approached Ashton, smacking her gum. "So, uh, Ashton. You wanna come over today and, uh. Ya knooow" She winked. I just stood there awkwardly, hoping we could just walk away.

"No, Kasey. I don't like you. I broke up with you 8 months ago, can you just let it go?!" He exclaimed. I quickly dashed off, not wanting to be in the middle of the petty argument.

Ashton P.O.V.

After I yelled at Kasey, I saw Samantha run off. I really didn't want her to see me this way, but Kasey does this all the time.

"Look what you did! You scared her off, Kasey! Just leave me alone."

"Why do you care? What, you have a crush on her??" She asked, looking completely overwhelmed.

"That's none of your business. You're not apart of my life anymore, so step off." I snapped. With that, I slightly moved past her, hitting her shoulder. All I wanted was to help Sam out, and I have someone to ruin it. Great.

Sam P.O.V.

After I sprinted away, I found the music class, and headed inside. It was bigger than I regular class room, and all I saw were people socializing, and having fun.

I took a seat next to a blonde haired boy, and he noticed me.

"Hey. I've never seen you here before. Are you new?" He asked, looking me in the eyes.

"Yeah.. Haha." I smiled.

"Well, I'm Luke. What's your name?"

"I'm Samantha, but you can just call me Sam or Sammy." I said, chuckling a little. I don't know why I was laughing to be honest, but these boys here are damn cute.

"Nice to mee-" he was stopped in his tracks, looking behind me. I jerked my head around, to see a smiling Ashton.

"Hey where did you go haha?" He asked, taking the seat on the opposite side of me.

"Uhh.. Here." I said, making a smart ass comment. "Sorry, I just didn't want to be i-"

"Yeah, I kinda understand.." He said with an apologetic look. "So I see you've met my man Lucas!" He said doing some weird ass handshake with him.

"How do you two know each other?" I asked, giggling about the handshake.

"We're in the same band. And we're like the bestest of friends." Luke said. My eyes widened. I love bands.

"Oh really!! That's so cool! What's the name? Is it just you two orrr..?" I asked desperate to know this very important piece of information.

"Haha, Sammy calm down!" Luke said, laughing uncontrollably.

"Our band name is 5 Seconds of Summer, and we have two other members called Michael and Calum." Ashton answered, giggling.

"Sorry, I really loooooove bands, guys. Well, it depends on what music they play.. What genre are you guys?" I asked another very important question.
