I was silent the whole car ride to our new house in Sydney, Australia. I didn't really want to move, but I had to. I didn't want to leave my house, my friends, my school. My ex boyfriend.

But then again, I kinda did want to move. New house, new friends, new school. And of course. New boys.

"Sam, sweetie, you can't be mad forever." Mom spoke, breaking the silence.

"I'm not mad. Just... Not happy." I said, sighing. I really hoped it wasn't going to be hell for me. I just wanted a small, simple life. Small group of friends, no drama, things like that.

We pulled into our driveway and I gasped at the size of the house. It was HUGE!

"Mom! What the hell?! When did we become rich?!" My sister, Rosie, screamed.

"I new you two would react this way!" She laughed. "I got a huge raise, like I said before, and my boss kinda gave us this house to be honest. Wait until you get inside!"

We all squished through the door and admired the whole house. All our furniture was already inside, and they were arranged real nicley. Our couches are black that matched our white carpet, and our glass coffee table sat in the middle of the room, while our television was against the wall.

I walked down a small hallway and saw our kitchen. It looked really nice, better than our small one from our old house..

Next, there was our dinning room with a table with six chairs. There was a big, glass chandelier hanging from the top of the ceiling.

"Do you girls like it so far?" Mom asked with a big grin on her face.

"I love it!" Rosie shouted. I nodded along with her, still admiring the rest of this beautiful house.

"Oh yeah. Sam, your room is the balcony room. No arguing, girls."

We rushed up the stairs to find our rooms. I ran to the room on the far end of the house and swung open the door. There, I saw the doors that led to the balcony, so I knew it was mine.

My bed was a few feet away from the glass doors, and my dresser was next to my TV, close my the door. I had a walk-in closet, which was amazing. My bathroom was right next to my closet door, and it wasn't a big bathroom, just a small, simple bathroom. Sink, toilet, and shower. All I needed.

I saw all the boxes that needed to be unpacked and sighed, feeling somewhat exhausted and lazy.

Rosie walked into my room and sat on my bed.

"Your room is nice.. Too nice." She complimented.

"Thanks, but it'll look a lot better when these boxes are unpacked and everything is put away." I smiled and she skipped out of my room.

Mom walked back in, next and looked around.

"Have you been on the balcony, yet?" She asked.

"No .. Not yet."

She walked over to the two doors and opened them. A cool breeze flew through and it felt so good. I walked onto the balcony, and saw the beach. It was so .. Beautiful. The waves were crashing into rocks, and floating up to the shore. The sun was somewhat setting, and it all looked so nice and peaceful.

"I love it here, mom. It's way better than our old crappy house."

"Right. Well, you might want to start unpacking a little, and find your school supplies because school starts for you girls tomorrow. Have fun." She said as she walked out, closing my door.

I started on the first box that said electronics. I pulled out an old radio, and my iHome. I plugged in my iHome and put in my phone and blasted music through my room. First Date by Blink-182 started playing as I sang along while unpacking more boxes.
