"All Light for You"
*Sherri*
I closed my mind off. He didn't deserve it by the trick he pulled but the fact that I was getting out and we were together with my two friends, it had to mean something.
"Good evening Sherri, King?" Farrah bowed her head. I looked at her as if I was beyond disgusted. King...really?
Rolling my eyes, I looked towards the dark tinted window. Why was Avieon so high and mighty anyways? He was definitely hiding something and this "truth" dinner will be what we all needed.
After Ave probably picking up my vibe, he never made conversation with Farrah. Dino, how could he be in this? I thought he was just some innocent human.
At least now, I'd know it all.

The fact that my son had been deflecting from his duties, his role and our meetings, had me suspicious. The Elders spoke the light had been broken, revealed and there was much needed to be spoken about so that we could search for it.
The second the lycanthropes and lesser beings got whiff of it, they would travel alternated universes to reach it. Who ever it inhabited, it must be a woman of passion. Many of these women were killed after consumption of their light, it was necessary to keep the strength, the power, so that many of the under-species would recognize and bow when we were in their presence. It was the way, the old way and would continue to be our duty to have.
"Lord, I have much to speak to you about," Zell, one of my son's guards came to my secluded chamber.
"Speak" I sat, waiting...the images of the light-dweller disturbed my sleep as if I needed it. Sleeping was a delicacy that I truly enjoyed next to draining the blood of a beautiful virgin after fucking her until she barely stopped breathing.
"Well, um, it's a woman. She's very b-beautiful." He stuttered. I hated it and it was punishable but this one was loyal. He kept an eye on my sons, made sure they both was in line. Abram, I didn't worry about as much as I did Avieonden...he was very unstable when it came to women.
He said a woman, Avieonden kept plenty of them, most as slaves. Abram was faithful to one but I'd never seem to meet her. Abram spoke of her, but being my less powerful child, he wasn't important as the role my stronger would take one day. His darkness was tainted and I didn't know why. I could sense it in both of them as they would stand in my presence but lately, I hadn't seen either of them.
"Speak!!!" I sat up in my desk, pounding my fist to it. I had to control my power. It was weak, depleting because I needed to feed, not blood but light...transferring it to the Elders that they would use the mages to grant us dominion, power over all.
"I um, she was a black woman or...something else, beautiful." he mumbled.
"Get out!" I hissed, standing which made him stumble back. "I tell you all do not disturb me with your assumptions! My sons are loyal to their Lord Father!"
The boy ran faster than his vampire speed could carry him. Young vampires vexed me. I couldn't keep a straight temper with them as to why my son would deal with them. He was a guard, the lowest next to the cleaners. I kept it clear, I wanted nothing but pure vampires in our kingdom, anything else would be exiled or killed.
My connection to my sons weren't clear. I thought about Abram, he would buck but give into what I wanted to know, it's time I visited my sons in their solitude mansion. They didn't want to stay with me while I was in the States. They were getting a little too comfortable while I resided with the Elders in North East, Africa. We'd been searching for the last light-dweller there but we'd been searching for nearly five-hundred years, not until I was alerted by a very reliable source. I feel it was elsewhere, here, in the States.
To control the world, I wanted each of my strongest of vampires to rule each part of the world and they did...they reported to me, I to the Elders, they all knew who was their Master King and who the princes were but Abram...he seemed to be getting a bit messy with the killing and attention was being drawn to our kind. That type of killing meant that someone was either in that wasn't supposed to be in or the darkness was taking over my strong ones causing everyone to see there was a such thing as a light-dweller and soon they too would be searching for it.
We did well to keep it a myth. Lycanthropes didn't live as long as ancient vampires. The news would carry but after a century or two, the news would only become folklore, a myth. They would let it go and along with that, if a Daughter of Orin was born, we would eventually find her. It was a tactic that worked for us and would continue to, as long as I got my sons in order.
Putting on my blazer, I headed out. I hated making house calls but, being a father meant doing what most mothers would do as well.
Except, I didn't need a car to get me where I wanted.
Closing my eyes, I felt my body fade into my thoughts of both of my sons home.
