Lord V: "But...how?" My son's had deceived me. Aveion, my most prized, prestigious, son...lied to me.

"The girl has been around your kingdom, we can sense it on you." Elder Greh spoke. He was the strongest and even the oldest of us all. He pointed his bony finger at me and I bowed in shame...only in shame.

The rest of the five looked up from their stone thrones in unison and in unison they spoke.

"Bring her to us!" The old bastards spoke in unison. "We've known for months you fool!"

*Sherri*

My head continued to bang all night as I read into some of the work after me and Ave's little love session, all I wanted to do was sleep but I was fighting against what my body wanted.

"Okay, beautiful?" Ave, looked up from his computer. I nodded slowly. Maybe the blood he took was too much but maybe it was my eyes being stressed.

We'd been in Asiah's home town, the place where it all began but wasn't where it all started. Her life, her mates...the power. I told Ave I was too creeped out to stay in the old place but he insisted it was the best way to harvest the power while studying her notes.

Before long...the pain got to the point which any killer's would fix it. I found peace in our love made bed and relaxed until I drifted off to sleep.

'You will need me...stop rejecting your healing.

The bed shook, an earth quake! "Cory!!!"

I screamed his name because he was no where around me. My eyes widened to so much it hurt. "Cory, no!!!"

The door nearly came ajar after hitting the wall. I looked up seeing a scared vampire, shocked, looking at me.

"Sherri...what is it!?" He was next to me but I could not feel him. All I could see was Corey on a boat, screaming and yelling for me but I couldn't get to him.

"Sherri! Wake the fuck up!" he yelled, his voice like ripples of echo's calling to my soul but I was locked, locked on how cold the waves were that kept me away from my brother screaming for help.

"Cory!" I felt my body shiver, my voice was stiffened by heated steam, the river waves grew, forcing me back.

'Accept me!! ACCEPT ME!!!'

"Stop it!!!" I felt the energy leave me and opened my eyes.....my real eyes.

Ave was on the floor and the room was demolished. He was just laying there...but wait, he was just standing.

Climbing off the bed, I felt no emotion, not a damn thing as I felt my body moving closer to the cracked wall that once held the door.

I looked down at his face as I crossed his body, squat and touched it. "I'm sorry," I whispered and looked at the main door. "But...this isn't your war."

I walked passed the hall, glass on the floor...I glanced only for a minute and moved it with my feet. It would cut my skin but then it would seal instantly, no time for blood yet.

A smirk left my lips as I exited the ruins.

Nothing would stop what was to come.

*AVEION*

*Moments earlier....*

I was on my computer, setting up the next destination. I had to get her out of her...the reason I was instructed not to let my fuckin' hormones take over really meant something important.

I knew it. I studied it for years and I watched over her, knowing one day the atomic bomb was too kind for her destiny. According to Asiah's journals, she'd be stronger than her, stronger than any of the Daughter's of Orin. Asiah didn't have her full power before she transitioned to the unseen world but Sherri, after mating, would ride them stronger than all of them put together.

I couldn't stop pacing...she was going to kill the light elders...she would destroy everything known to the curse of the blood now because I couldn't keep my fuckin' dick in my pants. I knew we would get here, it was only a matter of time but I wasn't strong enough, I couldn't hold on with the sweet nectar of my beautiful beloved Egyptian goddess!

"Corey!!!!"

I jumped to my feet and took a step nearly losing it. The house was shaking like it was some earth quake.

I tried opening the door, the fuckin' knob was burning so I kicked it open. She was sitting on the bed and her hair was flowing like she was in water but there was no water anywhere.

As I tried to use every bit of my strength to get to her but the heat was so intense my body couldn't hold it long being a vampire king, it was still too much for me.

She was looking at me but I could see her eyes changing colors. "Cory!" She screamed and another wave of that heat hit me again.

"Fuck!"

"Sherri, wake the fuck up!!" I touched her but she was burning up worse than before, worse than the heat hitting me.

Even my vampire speed and strength wasn't doing shit...this must be how humans felt but it wasn't any time for that comparison.

"Stop it!!!"

Whatever left her body, a surge of something that wasn't her.

A girl...the photo! For a split second I saw her, the girl, Asiah. She was standing there. She was going to touch her and the second she did, with her finger

I was on the floor, out cold. How was this possible.
