Grey POV

I'm feeling a bit tired after today's activities even though for majority of it, I was just along for the ride.  I could feel Conall's emotions, though anger burning through most of them.

"I could do with something light to eat and then hitting the hay" I tell Keats 

When he doesn't answer me, I glance up to see him staring at something.  I follow his eyes and see a couple standing near the staircase.

"Who are they?" I ask

"Your paren, Ashley's parents" he says correcting himself.

"Where is your room? I'll wait for you in there" I say "third floor the double doors at the end of the hall" he replies "code is 180621" he says in my head.

"See you later then" I say patting his shoulder and then moving to the stairs ignoring the couple standing there and climbing the stairs 2 at a time.

"What can I do for you?" I hear Keats asks

I don't listen to more as I walk even quicker to the third floor.  I see the double doors at the end of the hall and start to walk towards them.

"He will realise soon enough your not good enough to be his mate" I turn and see Shelia standing there with her arms crossed over her chest.

"We are fully mated, and somewhere out there is your mate" I tell her

"I'm good enough for him" she spits

"The Goddess would disagree with you on that" I say calmly

"Screw the Goddess" she cries

"I think half the pack would have heard that! As they do believe in the Goddess, I think you've just proved my point" I state

"You think you're all that don't you?  All I have to do is challenge you and when I rip your head off, then I'll be his mate" she yells

"1, we are already mated, so killing me would tear his heart out.  2, you are not an alpha female and lastly but not least you'd lose the challenge and would end up dead" I warn her with a little of the anger I'm beginning to feel seeping through into my words.

"You think you, a mire human could win against me?" she laughs just as Keats walks up the stairs.

I let Conall come into my eyes and hear her gasp "who said I was just human?" I ask her

"But you smell human" she says

I take a step nearer to her "back the hell away or I'll turn you to ash" I warn

I watch her swallow and see that she is nervous now.  "I said back the hell down or I will make you" I say letting some of Conall's power seep through my voice.

She trembles and bares her neck submitting "I suggest you stay the hell away from me for a while" I warn, turning and walking away.

"Shelia, do I have to also warn you not to mess with my mate?" I hear Keats asks

"No Keats" she says meekly now.

"No Alpha!  You seem to have forgotten just who the hell your dealing with.  You'll start working at one of the other offices from tomorrow" he tells her.

"But" she says and stops.  I'm guessing she actually looked at him and saw how pissed off he was.  I can feel his anger as I key in the code and walk into his room.

"Would you prefer to work in the laundry?" he asks

"No, sorry Alpha" she answers

I look around his suite, it has a full kitchen and sitting room.  I turn around and spot a door opening it, I see his bedroom.  It is large and has a great view of the back garden and forest beyond that.  I open another door but its a walk in closet.  So I walk to the next door and open that.  Thankfully its the bathroom and I walk in washing and getting ready for bed.
