"Elliot" I breathed out. All of the memories good and bad came flooding back. My mind must be playing tricks on me. This isn't possible. He was gradually getting closer and every step he took my breathing seemed to hitch.

Before I knew it he was standing right in-front of me but before he got to say anything to me we were approached by Captain Morgan. "I'm Captain Morgan can I help you with something?" He asked Elliot. "Captain Stabler of Organized Crime." He said showing his badge then offering him a hand to shake. That took me by surprise. Captain? Organized crime? "Oh right! I heard they were getting a new Captain. Well this is Captain Benson of Special-" Captain Morgan was quickly cut off by Elliot. "Victims Unit. I know." I stood their quietly listening to this current conversation still in shock. "So her reputation precedes her?" Morgan gave me a look of 'damn look at you go' I just shook it off and decided to shut this all down. "Actually we used to be parters. Captain Stabler...nice to see you again." I nodded at him and put on a fake smile I knew he would be able to see right through but Captain Morgan not so much. "Oh well I bet it's nice to be together again. Anyway back to the case." Elliot and I exchanged glances mine was full of anger and annoyance along with hurt where as his was sorrow and something I couldn't quiet read.

Both Elliot and I agreed that with it almost being 12 it was just better to go home and meet at the precinct tomorrow so that's exactly what we did. On my way home my mind was racing a mile a minute. I had actually just seen Elliot the Elliot stabler for the first time in 10 years. My emotions were all over the place I wanted to be happy to see him but I was so pissed and angry. I was hurt and I just couldn't comprehend any of this.

When I got home I quietly hung my purse and jacket up, took my shoes off, and put my keys on the table. I went into Noah's room and just stood their and watched him sleep. He was till so young and pure and had nothing to worry about. I decided to walk over to him and I placed a gentle kiss on his forehead "goodnight sweet boy, I love you." I said as I got up to leave his room. I went to my room and decided it would just easier to go ahead and jump in the shower. As I got out I changed into a old NYPD hoodie that I had and a pair of sweatpants and then went to tidy up the house a bit .  After I finished that I got ready for bed and laid there. After about an hour of tossing and turning I was finally out.

*Beep Beep Beep Beep* That was one of the most dreadful noises I had ever heard. I quickly leaned over and turned my alarm off and got out of bed. I went straight into the kitchen starting the coffee pot then heading back into my room. I quickly brushed my hair and pulled my makeup out of the drawer when i heard the coffee maker stop. I grabbed the mug Noah got me for Mother's Day that read "Worlds best mom" and poured it in along with creamer. I went back to my room and pulled my hair back before starting on my makeup. I didn't do too much makeup but enough that I looked awake and presentable. I was more than happy with my makeup then moved on to hair. I decided to pull out my curling iron and to just add some loose curls to my hair. About 20 minutes later I finished my hair and went into my bedroom. I pulled out a pair of black slacks along with a gray blouse and a black blazer. I took my coffee into the kitchen and decided I would see if Noah wanted breakfast. I walked into his room and he always looks so peaceful. "Hey sweet boy do you want to eat breakfast with me or do you want to sleep in and eat when Lucy gets here?" I said as I woke him up. He didn't have school today so I figured he would want to sleep in. "I'm to tired." He said as he cuddled into his blanket more and fell right back asleep. I kissed his forehead and headed back to my bathroom. I quickly brushed my teeth. I walked back into the kitchen and dumped out my coffee now that it was cold and washed my mug then waited for Lucy. She got to the apartment about 30 minutes early so I decided it would be easier to just get into work early. I slipped on my gray jacket and was out the door. It was darker than usual and storming but weirdly it gave me a sense of peace.
