STOIC (Mingyu & Eunha & Wonwoo)

CH. 14

(Two years later)

" Yah Mingyu! If you drop me, I swear, I am going to punch you" I threatened Mingyu as I held tightly while he piggy-backs me.

" Don't worry, I won't drop you even though you're so heavy." He teases me.

I slapped his shoulder and pinch his ear.

"Ouch! I was just joking Eunha!"

" Stop joking." I pouted.

Mingyu started walking around the park.

We are back to our hometown, after the mess we have experienced, we decided to be home, where we met, where we started and where every good memories which is in our hearts.

The falling leaves and the leaves beneath us are making us like in a movie.

" Thank you Eunha for giving me a chance." Mingyu whispered, I smiled at what he said even though he can't see me.

Giving Mingyu a chance is one of the best decision I made because it restored what we have.

*FLASHBACK

" We can start from the beginning. Let's forget all those things."

Mingyu's eyes held so much hope that I hesitated to say these words that would surely hurt him but this for his own good.

" We can be friends. Just like how we first met. Let's forget all those pains and be friends, just like how we used to."

Mingyu shook his head and sobbed, I felt my heart clenched as I stare into him, " I don't think I can do that. I love you so much, Eunha."

I nodded at him, not agreeing but to show that I understand him, " But we can't be together anymore Mingyu, we hurt each other so much. You hurt me that I don't know how to breath anymore, I hurt you and look at you, devastated. We can't continue to be together because I know in the end, we'll still cause pain with each other."

He stopped crying, but he was silent, staring anywhere but me, so I continued, " But I treasure you, you are part of my life, and I don't want to lose you. It may sound selfish but you are very important to me Mingyu."

I caress his hair which made him to look at me, sadness in his eyes was evident but I smiled at him, reassuring him that everything will be alright, " It still depends on you, if you don't want to have connection with me anymore then you can ignore me."

Mingyu just stares at me, it's like his memorizing my face, after a while, he sighed and said with defeated voice, " I never imagine that this will happen to us, I love you so much, and as much as I don't want to do this, I don't want to lose you. I will swallow the pain of being with you as a friend because you know I want you more than that but if this is the only way to be connected to you, then I will accept it even though it hurt."

I wrapped him into a tight hug and he did too.

After the confession. Mingyu decided to have a break, he went to Hawaii alone, he was there for a week and when he came back, the first person he went to see was Kira, he apologized for everything what he did for her. Kira was angry, she didn't accept the apology and instead threatened to exposed all of Mingyu's doings but it never came, after a month, Mingyu and Kira met again, they apologized to each other and Kira wanted to cut all the ties with Mingyu and he agreed.
