STOIC (Mingyu & Eunha & Wonwoo)

CH. 5

*Flashback

A group of kids is seen teasing a smaller kid, wearing a blue denim jumper with two pigtails on each side of her short hair, she's crouching down while she stared with fearful eyes to the bigger kids.
The leader of the group was much bigger than the little girl.

He's laughing at her as he keeps on pointing his chubby finger on her while saying " Hey you. You are so weak, look at that small body of yours."

The little girl is now tearing up, she remained crouching down.

" Where's your mommy?" He keeps on mocking at her.

The little girl glanced at her mom on the cafe, beside the playground, typing really hard on her laptop.

" Oh no. She's too far from here. Poor weak girl." He teased again while his friends laughing are with him.

When they started throwing small stones on her, she began crying.

Wonwoo was sitting on a bench on the playground, he's planning on staying here for a while before going back home.

He's sitting peacefully when he heard a soft cry, he looked at the direction of crying and spotted a group of kids throwing something to a little kid.

He sighed, he doesn't want to be involved but stood up and approached the scene.

He stand infront of the little kid while folding his arms infront of him as he stared hard at the bullies.

" Do you know that you can go to jail of what you're doing right now? I'll call the police." He said.

The terror on the faces of the bullies is evident. They quickly run away from the playground.

Wonwoo, who is a 9-years old kid, looked at the little kid. He helped her to stood up and dusted her dirtied knees.

The little girl, looked at him, he smiled at her and whispered, " When they'll come back for you, just say to them that you'll call the police, okay?"

She nodded and sniffed.

Since their first encounter, whenever the little girl would see Wonwoo, she'll followed him around like a little chick.

Wonwoo learned that her name is Jung Eunha and she's 6-years old.

He'll listened to her stories for half an hour, about her friend hamburger or her friend cat which she named as Eunbi.

Wonwoo would just nod, it doesn't really matter if he answered or not because Eunha never stops talking and Wonwoo never get bored.

" Eunha! Honey, come, we're  going home." Wonwoo looked at the source of the voice, it was the lady who lives infront of their house. Eunha stopped talking and run towards the lady.

" He's my friend." Wonwoo heard her say to the lady.

The lady looked at him and eyes wide when she recognized him " Wonwoo? How's your mother?"

What a small world, the little girl which instantly become her friend is his neighbor.

Since then, Eunha is always on Wonwoo's home asking him to play with her friend hamburger and Eunbi.

It was unexpected but they became friends.

He became her first friend and she became his first friend.

Wonwoo and Eunha became the best of friends. They are always seen together. They always shares secrets with each other. Played together.
