STOIC (Mingyu & Eunha & Wonwoo)

CH. 6

Everything is ready.

The foods, tents, utensils and other things that we needed.

Surprisingly, Mingyu hadn't stopped texting me, most of it are apologizing and then some are threatening to go to Wonwoo's apartment although he never did.
At some point, I got tired of reading all his messages and completely ignored it.

" Yes! Let's go, I am so ready!" Umji exclaimed.

I can't help the big smile which spread on my lips, even Wonwoo had smiled, Umji's excitement is spreading to us.

After the stressful event, this camping will heal us. I hope it will.

Umji and I had to played rock-paper-scissors to determine who will sit on the passenger's seat.
Umji and I really wanted to sit in that seat because we wanted to to operate the music.

Fortunately I won, so here I am sitting beside Wonwoo while scrolling through my phone while it is plugged-in to the Aux.
Umji is sitting at the back, accepting that she was defeated.

I played a up-beat song, appropriate for the situation and the feeling we felt right now.

At some point, Umji and I are singing along with the song while Wonwoo is smiling at us.

" Hey Wonwoo! You know this song, we used to sing this all the time!" I poked Wonwoo's arm, urging him to sing with us.

He refused at first, shaking his head while smiling at us.
Then, Umji and I started chanting his name, and eventually he gave up and sang along with us.

The ride was so energetic and happy. I completely forgot Mingyu which I am glad that I did.

If he can forget me so easily, why can't  I?

We arrived at the destination, there are few people who are camping, we decided to put our tents on a open spot, not far from the other campers.

" I don't know how to put a tent." I pouted as I gave up assembling the tent.

Umji had decided to take a walk suddenlt, I suspected that she didn't know how to put a tent too, that's why she left me in here.

That girl.

I stared at Wonwoo's tent which is standing beside ours.

" Do you need help?" Wonwoo asked teasingly.

I rolled my eyes at him, he's been teasing me since I refused his helped, saying to him I could do it on my own, I can't just let Wonwoo win, he won't let that teasing smile leave his face if I accepted his help but I badly needed it now, as I stared at our poor bundled of tent.

With a sighed, I nodded. He let a triumphant smile plastered on his face.

When he is near me, he reached for my head and ruffles my hair, I smiled as I remembered that Wonwoo liked doing this to me when we were kids.

After Wonwoo assembled the tent without sweating, Umj suddenly appeared commenting about how beautiful the place is.

" Oh wow! You did the tent, Unnie!" Umji said as she noticed the tent.

I eyed her suspiciously when she noticed me, staring at her, she quickly looked away, saying she's hungry randomly.

What a cutie.
