"This is Satan's room, Levi's room, my room, Beel and Belphie's room, Judith's room, and down there is Lucifers." Mammon sighed, lackadaisically gesturing out to each personalized door. He was just about suck and tired of carting around these extra humans. "You guys are sharing your own corridor with Asmo, so you should know your way around there pretty easy.""Mammon," the blond girl spoke, earning a disinterested hum from the demon. "Judith is the other human, right? What's she like?"
"Find out for yourself." He scoffed, rolling his ocean eyes. "I'm not going to baby step you through everything."
"Oh,"
"Mammon!" This voice he knew, his face falling as the eldest came stalking in his direction. He turned to face Lucifer head on.
"Where's an angel when I need one..."
Judith, on the other hand, was having a pretty good day. Her classes were short and to make things even better, she had aquifer everything she needed to make the brothers their favorite human meal. Chicken Parmesan.
The dining hall filled with the occupants of House Lamentation slowly, Mammon arriving with the two human transfers later than usual. He let out a deep, childish grumble as he sunk into his seat next to Judith, leaving the two to fend for themselves. Judith frowned, but could tell Mammon was exhausted. She smiled up at the humans, standing.
"You must be the new guys. I'm Judith." She reached out, shaking their hands. They looked relieved, and Judith summarized Mammon had not been too hospitable.
"I'm Jimmy." The brunette boy smiled nervously, shaking her hand firmly.
"And I'm Kiara." The blond girl let out a stressed breath, finding comfort in another human presence.
"These seats are for you." Judith led them to the two new chairs between Asmo and Levi. "You're welcome to sit anywhere, but during mealtimes I advise you stick to your seat."
"And whatever you do," hummed Asmo with a playful tone. "Don't sit in Beels seat~"
"That reminds me," Judith titled her head as she walked back to her chair, an end seat across from Lucifer. Mammon sat to her right and Satan to her left. She sunk down, picking her fork back up. "Where is Beel? He's never missed a meal before."
"Speak of the devil," Lucifer scoffed, just as two hands slammed down on the table, caging Judith in her seat.
"Hmmm..." Beel's growl rumbled in his chest, his eyes dark and dangerous. All but Lucifer and Satan cowered, afraid of his wrath. Judith tried to shrink in on herself, but Beelzebub only leaned in closer. "Did you eat my custard, Judith?"
Judith, without thinking much, twisted to quickly press a kiss to Beelzebub's cheek. His angry expression fell from rage to annoyance, soothed by her affection. The other demons let out a sigh of relief, and the new human guests gaped at her bravery.
"I'm sorry, Beel." She frowned, pouting up at the orange haired brother. His amethyst eyes softened as he let out a grumble of annoyance, knowing full and well he couldn't stay angry with her. "It was late last night and I was hungry, I didn't think I just ate it. I'll get you another, I promise. Can you forgive me?"
"Hm," Beel huffed, eyeing her honest expression before turning his chin away from her. He tapped his cheek, and Judith laughed before pecking him again. Beelzebub smiled as his anger faded, and he returned her affection by placing his own kiss on her cheek before releasing her from his cage. "You're forgiven."
"Leave it to Judith to save our hides." Mammon whispered stressfully, wiping a bead of guilty sweat from his brow. "Remind me to have you around next time Lucifer gets on my a-"
"Judith is not your guard dog." Lucifer scolded his younger brother, looking down on the white haired demon. Beel sat in his chair beside Belpie and began to inhale Judith's cooking.
"I don't think I could save you from Lucifer." Judith agreed, forking her own meal. "I usually agree with why he scolds you."
"Eh?!" Mammon choked, looking hurtfully towards Judith's expressionless face. "You're supposed' to be on my side!"
"I am on your side." Judith countered, smirking over to her closest friend. "But not when you do something stupid and screw me over in the process."
"It was one time!" Mammon threw up his hands, causing the other brothers to snicker. "How was I supposed to know it was all you had saved up! You practically pull Grimm out of thin air!"
"I have a job!" Judith retorted, shaking her head. "Organizing your dance battles is hard work! I don't do it for free!"
"I was gunna pay you back with interest!"
"But you didn't."
"That's enough bickering." Satan frowned, silencing them. Judith stuck her tongue out at Mammon in a final jab, making the boyish demon steam angrily. "Judith, have you had a chance to read that book I lent you?"
"Yes, actually!"
"Are you sure Judith is human?" Jimmy asked Asmo quietly, under the cover of everyone else's conversations.
"Of course shes human~" He giggled, his Ruby eyes glinting. He twirled a strand of strawberry hair around his finger, daydreaming. "Hard to believe when she's as beautiful as an angel, huh? Her beauty is truly supernatural~"
"U-uh, no-" Jimmy stuttered, still feeling overwhelmed by everyone's extreme personalities. "She fits in with you guy so easily, I was just wondering if she was actually human like us."
"It's true, Judith fits with us like roses and cake... we've come so close to her, it's purely instinctual at this point!" Asmodeus smiled sweetly, looking down at Jimmy. "Judith is human, but she is most certainly not like you."
Asmo's sickly sweet tone contradicted his dangerous warning, and it shook Jimmy to the core.
He got the message.
