"This theme is sexy." Judith frowned, looking over the bright blue outfits Lucifer held up. "Baby blue is not sexy."

"I was told the theme was pastel." Lucifer countered, frowning himself. He and Judith stood, staring blankly into each other eyes.

Lucifer folded first.

"I apologize for Wednesday's accident." He sighed, closing his eyes lightly. He dipped his head slightly in shame. "It's my fault for provoking Satan. I shouldn't have taken my anger out on you, too."

"It's alright, I forgive you." Judith sighed, forcing a soft smile. She reached out to place a light hand on his chest, a small sign of affection. "But please, stop fighting with Satan? You both just made up, it makes me sad to see you fight."

"Satan and I often disagree," Lucifer spoke softly, taking Judith's hand in his. He looked up to her with deep onyx eyes. "Lately Lord Diablo has come to me with some pressing topics, those which I decided best to discuss with Satan first before the rest of the house. We disagreed on how to proceed."

"I understand. I do." Judith let out a deep sigh, looking up to Lucifer through her thick lashes. "You don't have to, but if you need someone to talk to, you can always talk to me. You know that, right?"

"Of course." Lucifer smiled his soft and charming smile, lifting her knuckles to his lips for a formal kiss of thanks. "I appreciate all that you do for me, Judith. Truly."

"You all took care of me when I had no idea what was going on." Judith grinned, referring to the first weeks of her transfer. "You're my family."

"While you may not be a demon, you will always be one of us." Lucifers kind words brought a bashful dust to her cheeks, an expression he prided himself in creating. Judith cleared her throat and pulled her hand away gently.

"Anyway, pastel is not the theme." Judith pulled out her phone and tipped the screen towards the tall dark man. A series of messages marred the screen. "Asmo and Beel are taking point this month, and they've agreed upon sexy. Asmo says preferably darker reds and blacks, maybe silver. He also wants you guys showing skin so, open fronts and backs."

"I'm surprised Beelzebub had nothing to say about it." Lucifer hummed, looking over the racks of material. "I assumed he would be against Asmodeus' style choices."

"He was." Judith agreed. "Until Asmo produced pudding and a carton of muffins."

"I see." Lucifer hummed.

After a while of rifling through fabric and coordinating colors, a new set of costumes were being made. Lucifer let out a long and deep breath while they stood outside the store, another few hours to kill until the outfits would be ready.

Against Judith's wishes, her stomach let out a loud grumble.

Lucifer looked down quizzically, watching Judith press a hand to her rumbling belly.

"Come, let us find a place to eat." Lucifer stuck out his elbow, offering his arm to the small human girl. She took it casually, seeing as they often traveled together connected as such. "My treat, a final apology for Satan's explosion."

Lucifer treated Judith to a quiet meal in a nice restaurant, one not too far away from the custom costume shop. They actually made decent conversation over paperwork and a few frivolous topics before Judith's phone began to ring, buzzing on the table. She turned it face up, sighing at Mammon's stolen selfie.

"Can it wait?" She asked quietly, voice low to keep from disturbing the other patrons.

"Well that was rude! You almost make me not want to tell you now!"

"Good." She sighed, sipping her water. "I'm kinda busy, you know I'm with Lucifer today."

"Yeah! Well, you'll be thanking me when- wait, with Lucifer still? How long does it take to pick up outfits?! You've been gone all day!"

"Lucifer ordered the wrong colors so we have to wait for the new ones to be made." Judith carefully forked one of her vegetables, trying to end the conversation quickly so as to not be rude to Lucifer. "He took me out for dinner to-"

"Took you out to dinner! Are you on a date with my brother!?"

"Mammon-"

"I can't believe it! Lucifer! Of all of us! Making a move like you ain't-!"

Judith hung up the phone and silently turned it off. She breathed out deeply, but couldn't help but notice Lucifers coy smirk.

"Alright, why are you smiling." She huffed, setting down her utensils to give the dark man her undivided attention. He looked up, wiping his lips on a napkin as he attempted to hide his expression. It failed. "Spill it, Lucifer."

"My brother," he smiled, desperately trying to wipe the smug look off his face. "Presumptions as ever."

"Mammon's the jealous type, you know this."

"Yes, I do." The oldest demon brother rested his elbows on the table, hands folded neatly. He looked, ironically, pridefully down at Judith. "But it doesn't make it any less satisfying to watch him squirm."

"That's awfully-"

"He has a thing for you, you know." Lucifer cut her off with his blunt words, bringing a stark blush to her cheeks. "We all do. Each of us brothers, we hold you dear. Mammon, however, more than others. I know you're aware of this."

"Then why bring it up." Judith frowned, face still burning. It embarrassed her to think about. "I don't like to think about it."

"Because if I don't, you'll never choose one of us." Lucifer sighed, but the smile on his lips never faded. "You're far too honorable to pick one and leave the rest of us in despair, and I figure now is as good a time as any to speak on it."

"I've spoken with each of my brothers, individually of course, and we've come to an agreement." Lucifer let out a breath, almost sadly. His dark eyes turned down to the table, where they stayed. "We've decided that whomever you choose, regardless of our preferences towards each other, will not think differently of you or each other and will continue to be for you what we already are. Family."

"Lucifer, I..." Judith's words caught in her mouth, it felt as though she were choking.

"I love you, Judith. And while you may not love me the same, nothing you could ever do would change how I feel." Lucifer raised his sultry eyes, which were soft and unguarded. Judith swallowed thickly, feeling a new weight replaced the old one. He noticed her uneasy expression, and quickly moved to amend it. "Please, don't feel obligated to respond. I know this is much to absorb, but it needed to be said. If you questions, I will answer, but if you wish to drop the conversation that is acceptable."

"Is that what you were arguing with Satan about?" Judith asked softly, feeling guilty for causing the brothers discord. "About... me?"

"No, no, we were discussing future plans for the human transfer program." Lucifer was happy a change of subject came up, not liking the look of guilt on her face. It did however, make himself feel a little guilty, knowing he couldn't divulge all the details of their discussion to her. "The two new humans, whom exited after Satan- after you were injured, are here as a result of you, Judith. You've exceeded our expectations and allowed Lord Diablo to take on more human transfers."

"Oh..." Judith sat, mildly shocked. "That's good, right? That was the goal?"

"Yes, it's wonderful." Lucifer grinned, taking a carful sip of his wine. "You've singlehandedly opened the gateway to our co-existence. You should be proud. Soon, if everything continues as planned, we will be able to take on entirely human classes."
