Just watching your chest rise & fall
In the back of your drop top
On the beach last summerI couldn't ignore you whenever you called
As the waves got close
And they pulled us underAs your lips parted slightly
& your eye lids fluttered
if felt so good, us, secret loversno one knew of our endeavors
we made no sounds
like fallen featherswe crept and concealed, eclipsed in ourselves
we slept & hid from everyone who dwelledI caressed you & sent shivers up your spine
As you chewed your bottom lip
giving me a signA sign to keep stroking your nerves & mind
my lips melted into your neck
As your hands melted onto my thighsWe were milk and butter
& we just stirred each other
Until we couldn't tell who was who anymoreThat's what love did to us. . .
No one could identify us. . .
We couldn't tell love from lust
And didn't care about trustWe let the sand do the talking for us
Leaving our imprints and tales of love
We let the ocean wash away our anger
Leaving no pain and no eyes to judge
