10's Worries

Bella: The next morning, June and Flora were awaken by the sound of the doorbell.

June: *yawns* Will I ever be awaken because I wanted to wake up?

Bella: 🤷‍♀️
So, June got up and tiredly went to open the door.

June: Who is it?

May: It's me! May!

June: *opens door* May! Welcome!

May: You look tired. Did I wake you up?

June: Nahh...

Flora: Yes, you did.

May: Oh, sorry.

June: It's totally fine, come in!

May: So, where are the numberblocks?

June: They are actually sleeping, you came a bit too early.
But it's fine, you can go unpack and get some rest until they wake up.

May: Okay!

Flora: Come, I'll show you where you can rest.

Bella: May and Flora leave.

June: *sigh*

Bella: Is something wrong?

June: No, I'm just tired.

Bella: Then go rest.

June: No, I can't. Norah will be here after two hours and I just gotta stay awake. It's okay, I'll sleep at night.

Bella: June goes to her room and she and Flora clean up and change from their pyjamas.

June: (To Flora) What is May doing now?

Flora: She is probably taking a nap.

June: Okay.

Bella: Then, they hear a knock on their bedroom's door.

Flora: *opens door* Oh, Hi 10!

10: Hello Flora! Is June here? I need to talk to her.

Flora: Oh yes, she's here.
(to June) June! 10 wants to talk to you.

June: Okay, okay, no need to shout.
(to 10) Hi 10! How may I help you?

10: Can we maybe talk? Alone?

June: Umm...sure. (to Flora) Flora, can you please go and...umm...check on our friends and make sure that they are okay.

Flora: Okay.😐

Bella: Flora leaves, 10 enters the room, June closes the door and they both sit down on chairs.

June: (to 10) So, what's wrong? Are you all missing something? *gasps* Did 3 order more pizza!?

10: No, 3 didn't order anything that I know of. But yes, I am missing something that I'm sure that everyone else is missing.

June: What is it? Food? Pillows? Beds?

10: No, we miss Numberland and our friends who are still there. We don't know if they are safe or not, especially that we know that the Terrible Ts are doing trouble.

June: You all keep saying that they are doing trouble, but what type of trouble exactly?

10: *sobs* I don't know! Which is why I want to go back and rescue them fast before anything happens to them!

June: Oh 10, don't cry. It's gonna be okay, we just have to wait for Norah to reach, then we'll be off to Numberland to rescue your friends. And don't worry too much, I'm sure that the Blue Terrible Two will try his best to not cause that much trouble.

10: Okay.

June: *hugs 10*

Bella: Then, someone else knocks on the bedroom door.

June: Who is it?

May: It's me, May! And Eloisa is here too.

June: (to 10) Can they come in?

10: Yeah.

June: *opens door*

Eloisa: June! Good Morning!

June: Good Morning Eloisa! Hi May! Did you rest well?

May: Yes.
Is that 10?

June: Umm...yes?

Bella: May and Eloisa go to 10.

Eloisa: Why is my favorite numberblock sad?

June: She is worried about her friends back in Numberland. And that is why when Norah comes, we have to get moving to Numberland to help everyone there.
Oh...wait...I didn't even tell you what happened.

May: It's fine. We know, Flora told all of us everything.

June: Great. Finally she did something helpful.

Flora: Ehm Ehm.

June: 😬
I mean thanks for telling them.

10: I'll go tell the others to prepare.

June: Okay, Norah will be here any minute now.

Bella: Then, the doorbell rang.

Flora: She is here!

June: As long as it isn't another delivery guy.

Flora: Come on! It was just once!

June: Hmm...
*opens door* Norah?

Norah: Are you June?

June: Yes, I am! Welcome!

7: *comes to the door* Who is this?

June: 7, this is Norah. Norah, this is-

Norah: 7!!! I...I...is it really you?

7: Yes, I'm 7. Nice to meet you!

Norah: I...I...you...me...

7: What is wrong?

June: She just really likes you.

7: That's Lucky! I am someone's favorite numberblock!

June: You have way more people who really like you from all over the world.
Norah is just one of the top ones.
(To Flora) Please take Norah to her room.

Flora: Norah? *waves hand infront of Norah's face* Norah!?

Norah: Who!? What!? Where!? When!? Why!?

June: All those questions will be answered later.
And Flora, please tell Narah the whole story.

June: *goes to 10* So 10, How is everything going?

10: Great so far.

June: I just want to tell you something. *sigh* I'm sorry, but we won't be going to Numberland today.

10: Why?

June: Because, you see, Norah just came back from a very long trip and she is really really tired. And Humans are soo unlike Numberblocks. So, as per our human needs, we need time to rest, pack some important stuff and things like that. But I promise, tomorrow, we will get moving.

10: Oh, okay. It's fine.

June: So, how about you and 5 make some of those heavenly Block Cakes for us and our new guest?

10: I'd love to! 😊
Me and 5 will get to work.

June: 😁

Bella: After 10 and 5 finish making the Block Cakes, everyone sits and talk to each other and laugh and eat and they all had a super great time.
Then they all play together, teach each other new things, the numberblocks even showed the friends how to split and rearrange their blocks.
After a long day of fun and games, they all go to sleep.
June wasn't able to sleep as her head was full of thoughts about what were they gonna do tomorrow to help the numberblocks.
But later, she got tired and slept.
