coffee and human meat (kaneki ken x reader fanfic)

Eight: valentines day!!!!

Hey guys! So like i said im off this whole week and since valentines day passed, why not do a valentines day chapter! So here you go! >.<

You were sitting down at anteiku drinking your coffee. You havent seen kaneki all day and it was valentines day. You started to worry. "what if he's with another girl?" "What if something bad happened to him?!" all these thoughts rushed across your mind and you could feel hot tears getting ready to roll down your cheeks until touka came. "hey (Y/N) where's kaneki? Shouldn't he be here with you?" you immediately wiped away the tears and forced a smile on your face. "I think he's at the store.." you lied as you scratched your cheek. touka examined you closely and squinted her eyes. "your lying." she then said closing her eyes and putting her hands on her hips. "w-what?" you said looking back at your coffee. "you always scratch your cheek when your lying! Plus its pretty obvious you've been crying." touka said while taking a seat next to you and sat down. You felt the tears come back, this time faster. "I-I havent seen him all day and I don't know if he likes me anymore..." you said closing your eyes as the tears fell on the table. Touka rubbed your back "want me to find him and beat him to death?" she said. You chuckled. "no.."
"well did you text him?" touka asked.
"yes, and I even called him....3 times!" you replied
"oh dont worry, once I find him hes going to die!"
The conversation was interrupted by the vibration of your phone. It was kaneki. Your stomach tangled up inside and you quickly answered.
"h-hello?" you genitally said.
"hey, (Y/N)? Meet me at the book store, no questions!"
He then hung up before you could ever say anything back. You quickly changed your clothes and freshened up and headed out the door leaving touka clueless. You ran to the the book store only to find kaneki there leaning against a pole. You then ran towards him reaching out for a hug. He hugged you tightly and you noticed he had a tiny box of blood covered fingers (how delicious) You were a bit disappointed but all you cared about was him and that he was alive. Tears flooded down your cheeks. "Kenny kun!!" you said. He handed you the box of sweets. Kaneki then took your hand and lead you into the store. You were amazed. You saw *insert favorite author here* greeting you as you walked in. You then looked at kaneki with your eyes wide. "k-kaneki kun..." then you turned back at the author who was smiling. "(A-A/N)..." you then hugged kaneki as hard as you could. Kaneki reached in his coat pocket for a book and handed it to you. "I knew how long you've been waiting for this book to come out, and I know how much you loved the authour, so today was the perfect day because I managed to have (A/N) to stay a bit longer for you." you were speechless "ah kaneki kun, you're quite the lady's man!" the author said putting her/his hands on their hips and smiling. After the author signed your book, the three of you chatted a bit. You couldn't help but notice that every now and then Kaneki would drool a bit and wipe it away...he was hungry...you then gathered your stuff. "Well thank you for everything (A/N) but it's time for us to get going now." You took kaneki's hand and headed out the door. You and Kaneki ran to his house.
